i recently been getting harrasement calls from hunt and henriquez concercing a debt that i owe to a different company. hunt and henriquez claim to be a law firm working on the behalf of the original debt collectors. they threaten me at my home and work, requesting that i either pay they a lump sum or they will garnish my wages from work.

If you tell them to stop calling you at work...they have to stop.
They can't garnish your wages unless they have a court judgment. To get that they have to file and serve a summons and complaint. If they do file and serve DO NOT IGNORE IT! IF YOU IGNORE IT THEY WILL GET A DEFAULT JUDGMENT AND YOU WILL HAVE MORE PROBLEMS! File an answer to the complait and serve them with discovery. This will really screw them up. Do some google searches on how to file an answer and prepare and serve discovery.
Look at your caller ID and don't answer their calls. If you do answer, make sure your call is not recorded. Tell them that you do not give your permission to record the call.
