On Saturday Jan. 29th 2011 we called on a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with 93000 mls. Following the phone conversation we headed to the lot to buy the car on the note that it was priced to sale for $8,000. Test drove the car and decided to buy after assuming everything was in proper working condition. A down payment of $1, 200. was required for the loan but we decided to put $2,000 down to make our payment lower. (witch it did not) After the filling out of the paper work they presented to us to sign the loan amount stated we were being financed for over $12, 000. They said the reason being was they had to add additional fees to get us approved for the loan. In desperate need of a car we decided to sign. (big mistake) Apon signing of the paperwork they stated that they were going to take the car to clean up and wash and vaccum the inside. After waiting a half hour my husband walked back to the clean up area and discovered they were putting a GPS Tracking device on the car and never washed or vaccumed the inside.

On the following day we drove the car into town and discovered that the transmission was shitfing hard on several occations, and the key fob was not working properly. being that it was a sunday we could not call the dealership and notify them of the problem. On Moday morning we called and explained to them the issue we were having, thay asked us to bring the car up and leave it so that they could check it out. Tuesday we received a call stating that they found nothing wrong with the car but offered us a FREE warranty any future problems we may have with it. They stated they would mail us warranty paper work and that we may take it to any GMC Certified dealership to get it looked at. After returning back to the lot and picking up our car we returned home and realized they failed to tell us what they were going to do about the broken keyfob, they stated they they had one there they would mail us in replace of the one that wasnt working, I asked if we could just come back up to the dealership and pick it up and he sais no he already mailed it and if we didnt get it by the following Tuesday to call him back. Wednesday the 9th I called to notify them that we had not received the keyfob, They then explained to me that it was on his desk but was to a 2004 Chevrolet and didnt know if it would work with our car (so basicly he lied about mailing it in the first place) That evening we went to the dealership and picked up the keyfob and he stated thet if we couldnt get it to work to let them know and they would order another one. After trying to program the new keyfob we discovered that it would not work with our car so we called the dealership back to notify them. They explained they would order another one.

Two weeks had passed bye and in the mean time the ignition where the key goes went bad, was hard for us to even place in the key to start the car, also no warranty paper work had been obtained by us in the mail, Nor a phone call was recieved by us on the new keyfob. Once again I notified the dealership. This time they stated they new noting about the keyfob yet and that they werent mailing us any warranty paperwork, they were just keeping it on file at their business and that we may not take it to any GMC Certified dealership, we were to bring it to them for repairs. At the same time the Transmission was once again shifting hard. After weeks of arguing with them we finally called the finance company and notified them of the dealerships neglagence to keep their work on fixing the problems and asked if they could give us any advice on what to do to get this taken care of.  that the payments were suppose to be set up for the 15th and werent but had worked it out with the finance company. In the mean time the finance company also contacted them to find out the situation on the repairs for the car. They straight lied to the finance company and said they NEVER offered us a warrany to fix the car. The finance company convinced them to let us drop it off at the dealership to have it looked at again.

We dropped the car off on Monday April 11th Wednesday we called again and thay ststed that were ordering a new part for the ignition and replacing it. We did not here anything back Wednesday evening after ststing they would call us back, Nor Thursday. Finally after calling on Friday the 15th (the day our payment was due) they notified us that they were not gonna fix it for free and that thwy would not release us our car because we hadnt made the payment yet even though we had made the arrangements with the finance company. So after immedietly making the payment we got in the car only to discover that there were no more miles put on my car then when we dropped it off and my personal items in the car had been messed with and throen everywhere. This is not even the worst part ! After returning home with my car the dealership calls and informs us that they have our license plate off my car and that we needed to come back in get it! When asked why they took the plate off in the first palce they implied that it was for liability purposes. All in all if you put two and two togather the dealership only asked us to bring the car in for the repairs as a scam to reposess the car after not making the payment on the 31st even after making arrangements with the finance company to make it on the 15th (the day this is all going on) They cleaned out the car and took off the plate thinking we were not going to pay and come back for the car, proceeded to just throw my personal things back in the car and forgot to put the license plate back on!

Im am writing this ststement today April 15th so this issue is oviously far from being resolved, But I am hoping that in doing so I may receive assistance in resolving this very aggervating and stressful matter. My husband and I would just like the dealership to make this right to us and we also hope that no one else in unfortunate enough to be taken advantage of like we are.

 I have seen how you treat people through email. I can only imagine how mean spirited you are in person. i am certainly glad that I only had to be called names and mistreated in an email and didnt have the misfortune to actually buy a car from you. I feel VERY sorry for these people. I am sure they regret making that phone call that you so desperately wanted me to make. I really dodged a bullet!

AS an employee of hunt motors, I was involved in the sale of this car to this couple.  First off, some of the things they say are true....but, most are fabricated lies...  they did test drive the car and everything was in good working condition.  The car was sharp, clean and ran and drove A1...!  I personally drove this car around a few times and it had NO problems.  Next, they did put down $2K to keep the payment where they wanted it...afterall they signed the financing paperwork which shows they were happy with the sale price and payments.  (NO one held a gun to their head to sign their name on the contract)  Next, we do put GPS tracking devices on the vehicles we sell to "credit challenged" customers.  The lender requires it, and we disclose it to the customer and they sign this disclosure statement.  The lender requires it mainly because these types of customers are very risky and usually default on the loans anyways....which we'll talk about this couple in detail more later!!!  Next, the couple did call us a few days later to complain about several items they were not happy with.  They claimed the transmission was shifting hard and other issues.  We did offer to look at the car and we did for free....  And it's true....we simply could NOT get the car to shift hard.....period!  And yes, we did drive the car about 5 miles (apparently, they wanted us to spend our whole day spinning their car around town)...   So, because we couldn't find any problems, we did offer to sell them a warranty at our cost (which they initially turned down at the time of sale), so that they could have peace of mind with their purchase and incase the problems did exist intermittantly it may cover it.  Again, they turned this warranty down too because (as with everything else) they wanted it for FREE!!!

As you can see from the 3 paragraphs they wrote about the "keyfob" issue, alone, these people are extremely picky and anal and tend to leach onto little issues that make them feel victimized and taken advantage of.  They harped about this keyfob issue nonstop for weeks....about a keyfob that was never promised to them to begin with....and a keyfob they could get from Ebay for $5!!!!  We eventually just gave them a used one sitting around to shut them up....and we told them that it may or may not work on their car.   What they fail to mention,though,  is that they complained about every aspect of the process from the second this couple landed on our lot.  These are those type of people that you really don't ever want to cross paths with, because they can never be satisfied, and tell everyone thay are the victims and NEVER take responsibility for their own lives and issues.  People like this usually end up in therapy because "everyone else on the planet must be wrong!!!"   Usually, our customers that simply need good transportation and a "second or third chance" with their credit situation, don't complain about anything....but, we suppose beggars can be chosers too, as we've seen here....

NOW....their lies!!!   WE never priced the car at $8K....period.  How could we do that, when the book value of the car is over $12K...we cannot even buy them that cheap!!!   WE never offered them a free warranty....period!  WE did offer to give them a warranty at cost!!  WE did not take the plate off of their car to "Scam" them!!  The only ones getting scammed here was our dealership!!  We took the plate off of their car and replaced it with our dealer tag because we road trip tested their car for 2 days and put 150 miles on the car.  And buy the way.....after 150 miles.....still NO transmission issues!!! (we have video of this too)  This lead us to believe that these people were trying to scam us and the finance company into NOT paying on the car while they barraged us with fabricated and false complaints (we'll get to this more later)!!!  This was the second time we test drove this car after the sale.....and still the mysterious problem didn't exist!!!  Hmmm?  Imagine that!  And strangly enough....the transmission would only shift funny about the same time their payment was due!!!  Duh!

What we do know....is that the chain of events this customer claims is also very fabricated to make us look bad.  And....what they fail to mention....because they are the innocent and mistreated victims....is that they NEVER made a single payment ontime and complained to us and the finance company to keep from making their agreed upon vehicle payments.  

NOW for the juicy part!!!  We called the customer recently to find out why they stopped making payments.  WE were told to stick it where the sun don't shine (in more nasty verbal terms) and our Finance manager was physically threatened over the phone by the male person.  This individual told us that we would never get his car back and he wasn't going to pay for the car anymore.  He basically challenged us to come find his car.  So, as per the finance contract, if the customer shows specific intent to no longer make payments, we have the right to reposess the car.   And as hard as this little F@*k tried to hide his car...we still got it from them in less than 1 day from their challenge (we win!!!).  AS well, to show that these problematic little humans are complete bad apples and certainly NOT victims in this case....when we got the car back we discovered that these idiots damaged the car and caused several thousand dollars worth of damage.  They intentionally cut the coil-pack wires so that we couldn't start the car.  WOW...that only took us 3 seconds to figure out.  As well, they dented up the body of the car in many places.  (Got pictures) As well, they keyed the car in several places. And, they took a knife to the leather interior, broke the vanity mirror and many other places of damage.   Do these sound like "VICTIMS" to you?   Our point, exactly!!!  SEE what we have to deal with????

So to sum up this rebuttle.....WE ARE THE VICTIMS here!  We did everything we said we would do....they failed to pay for the car.....they damaged the car (and by the way, we have video, audio, and picutures of the car leaving their property with this damage...we'll see them in court), .....and they lied about the fabricated transmission issues, the keyfob, and everything ....and then had the gall to put this on a public forum?   The difference between us and them is that everything I have said here on this rebuttle, I HAVE PROOF of in writing, video and other....they have only "here-say"  We've already filed to sue them and garnish their wages in court.....winning!!!!   Our lawyer doesn't lose!!!  Stick that where the sun don't shine!!
