Hunter Relocation LIARS!!! Atlanta, Georgia

What a disgrace... I am an example of the phrase "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"... first time I used this company to move my ex , the packers were great... they recognized that we had designer quality furniture and artwork (my ex was an interior designer) and the crew used white glove treatment to wrap and pack... upon delivery, a few boxes were missing, but eventually returned with very minimal damage... the extra weight was in question but not enough to raise a flag... SOOO... 2nd time, moving me to Florida... again, crew used white glove treatment and packed truck great... followed the truck to the weigh station and was shocked at the weight they said I had... almost double what they quoted (however I did call CAT and they said with the exception of the tricks used by moving companies i.e.: weighing truck before with no spare, less gas, etc. the reading was legit) Ok... I'll go with that... HOWEVER, the GROSS NEGLIGENCE happened apparently while my belongings were in storage...

 Imagine my surprise when the movers showed up in FL and I saw that my $1500 custom cream colored sofa was UN-SHRINKWRAPPED, UN-BLANKETED and used as "filler" in between my lawn mower, grill, and outside lawn furniture!!! They also UN-BLANKETED my $750 modern computer desk and stacked all items on it that SCRATCHED THE ENTIRE SURFACE!!! They also UN-BLANKETED my 2 IKEA bookshelves and just let them rattle around the truck and they were destroyed... ALL of these items left my house in IMMACULATE condition, wrapped and shrinkwrapped over and over to provide safety... SOME MORON apparently felt the need to REMOVE all of this protection and DESTROY my stuff, rather than use extra blankets... I worked in the moving field for 4 years and would have been thrown off the truck, while moving, by my boss if this ever happened...

 After almost losing my mind I spoke with Mark, a supervisor... he advised this was gross negligence and to send photos and a price quote and this would be taken care of... LIAR!!! My $1200 quote netted me a measly $250 ... not even enough to cover the $360 cleaning of my sofa to remove RUST, GREASE AND OIL... I got the bulls**t response that some of the stuff was IKEA and that can damage... TRUE, but all the other stuff from IKEA that was NOT unwrapped came fine... TOTAL B.S. ... Mark also had nothing else to say regarding WHY my belongings were UNWRAPPED... nothing, no answer... this company basically pissed all over my stuff then laughed at me... I weighed the options of small claims court, etc. but living in FL, travel expenses, etc would have been more than what I was seeking in damages... this company knows how to SCREW with customers... As a customer, and someone who worked in the moving field back in New York with a REPUTABLE moving company, I will WARN ALL OF YOU... DO NOT use this bunch of LIARS!!!
