Millions of dollars borrowed from investors for construction have disappeared and only empty lots remain. The entire loan amounts were handed over to the contractors instead of being metered out by the trust company as construction was completed, as stated in our contracts. There has been no accountability as to where these monies went.
Some type of Pyramid scheme has been going on for years. As loans matured , new investors were garnered for projects never completed. Now that the real estate market has declined, this scheme has fallen apart and come to light.
Where is the money?
