I too was ripped off by Cammie Mckenzie. I negotiated a discounted price on 3 new 1 watt 2nd generation penatrator pros that Cammie claimed was the last of her inventory and were on sale due to being discontinued. Once I paid Cammie $2,100 she sent the lights to me. Only the lights that arrived were obviously used/refurbished lights. Not only were they used, but were completely different models then what was promised. One was a 3 watt 1st generation penetrator, one was a 1 watt 1st generation penetrator, and one arrived not even in working condition which she replaced with a used 3rd generation penatrator x.

Cammie refused to accept the lights back once I pointed out that it was an obvious bait and switch scam. I had no choice but to accept her unethcial business deal because I lived on the other side of the country.

Cammie runs her "Cutting Edge" LED company from her trailer in California. She may have upgraded to a double wide after making some money. GrowHydroLed is nothing more than an import/export scam using aggressive marketing.  I have bought Cammie's $2,000 LED lights direct from the manufacturer in China for $450 shipped to my door in 4 days with a 5-year warranty!

Buy from Cammie, and you too will be posting on RipoffReport soon enough

Buyers Remorse is far from a RipOff

AUTHOR: Hydro Grow LED - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 30, 2014

In 2012 this customer (using a false name of Ingrid and a false location of Delaware) came to our company looking for the absolute cheapest lights we could offer.  She did not care about getting a new product, or getting our latest technology, all she wanted was the cheapest Hydro Grow lights she could buy.  We told her we had some refurbished older generation models we were discontinuing that we could make her a great deal on, and she said "great"!

So we made her an exceptional deal on some refurbished lights, trying to help her achieve an awesome Christmas present for her boyfriend on her budget.  Yet in her RipOff report (how you know she is a fraud) she states she negotiated a price on 3 NEW 1watt Penetrator PRO models (this is impossible as the PRO model only came in 3W), when in her email she states "I opened them right away to test to make sure they work knowing I bought them re-manufactured."  This woman is a complete fraud- making a RipOff report stating I sold her NEW product, when she states in her own emails she was fully aware they were re-manufactured.  And this is the biggest of her complaints, which has no validity whatsoever!

She then states in outrage that she got a 3W version (an upgrade) and two 1W versions of our product, when most people who receive a more powerful, more expensive light are excited about such a mistake.  Of course this is in her own words - I cannot recall if we actually sent her a more powerful model than what she had paid for.  I simply know from the correspondence she posted that we sent her 3 lights with the same G2 spectrum (something she states in the beginning of this report that she wanted specifically)

You can see via the email she posted (ripoff reports is hosting it illegally as it is copyrighted and cannot be republished without our consent) from our company, that we treated this customer with the utmost respect and professionalism despite her malicious and demanding behavior.

She then demanded we refund her money on the lights; however our policies clearly state there are no returns on used or refurbished items.  She says we "baited and switched" her, which is the furthest from the truth.  We gave her a great deal on refurbished lights because she was on a budget - something she was fully aware of.

I really don't understand what the point of her Ripoff report was, other than to jump on the "Let's hate Cammie Mckenzie bandwagon".  And yet we treat people with respect, we give them what they ask for, we bend over backwards to try and make our customers happy - and this is the repayment we get for our generosity.  A transsexual-hating bandwagon of fraudulent people trying to blame me for their own misguidances.  It's getting old people - I'm not a fraud, not a scam, not a bait-and-switcher.  I am a customer service professional, inventor and sales person.  We support our customers and always go the extra mile, even though some like this individual are incredibly ungrateful.
