Hydroxatone LLC Continued to charge for a nearly worthless product after attempted cancellation(s) Jersey City New Jersey

Hydroxatone is sold as an 'Anti-Wrinkle Complex'. A skin moisturizer and subscription service, designed to be nearly impossible to cancel once that company has a way to charge any third party (my credit card, bank account).

After trying to cancel the charges to my credit card (which simply continued after trying to cancel the card, the subscription or any contact with the company), I ended up paying in excess of 400 dollars for a product that I didn't want, didn't order and tried to cancel during the 'free trial' period. I even offered to sell 8 or 10 unopened jars back to them to no avail - they didn't want them either - even at half price.

After hundreds of dollars in charges and many hours on the phone, the credit card company got involved and the only good that came out of getting them involved was that there weren't any newer charges. Initially the credit card companies position was that if I had authorized the charge, that they couldn't do anything to stop further charges. This took at least 6 months.

My advice is to AVOID these people and if possible, try to get the word out about them.
