IADT Pittsburgh False advertising. Promise degrees they aren't accredited to offer Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

After 18 months, $20,000+ and countless false promises, again IADT Pittsburgh has let the students down. Promising "Specialized Associate Degrees" at recruiting fairs, this school clearly lies and fraudulently attracts students. The school is not accredited to offer associates degrees in "Justice Technology".

The commercials show millions of dollars in forensic tools that the school does not have. The forensic laboratory was not built nor stocked at the begining of the program causing many students to miss out on the "valuable hands on training in forensics". They consistently fire great instructors for teaching properly to allow administrators to hire their friends to teach. The program chair of the justice technology program has no police, security, or law enforcement experience. He is a BUSINESS teacher.

They promise jobs in law enforcement only to have students find out that police academy training is mandatory for these jobs and NOT INCLUDED in the program. Many students are admitted only to fail background checks and be thrown out halfway through after investing thousands of dollars. The management staff is rude, uneducated, and unprofessional, often having no knowledge of law enforcement. The instructors attempt to teach, mentor, and assist the students only to be told "This is a business that's in the business of making money. These students mean nothing unless income is generated." (I actually heard the education director tell an instructor this).

DO NOT ATTEND IADT. You will be ripped off, will not be employable, and will spend much more than you need to in order to succeed. Attend your local community college. It's cheaper and at least you're assured a real AS degree.
