IADT Can't get into MBA program because of accreditation Chicago Illinois

I graduated in June of 2006 from IADT and my goal was to apply soon after for an MBA program somewhere in Chicago. The problem was that all the places that I applied to told me the same exact story. I was told I couldn't attend any of the schools because IADT is not accredited by the same institution as most of the Masters level schools in the city.

As a matter of fact, there is only one school that has an MBA program and is accredited by the same people as IADT and that is Westwood College in Los Angeles. The problem is that it is far away and not a good school. I would have loved to have more options as well. I graduated with good credentials, but whats the use if I can't apply anywhere else. IADT is accredited by ACICS and most of the other Masters level schools in the Midwest are not.

I was then told by the MBA admissions departments for the different MBA schools that I would have to get an Undergraduate degree from them before I could apply for their MBA program. The reality is I am paying a little over $60,000 for a worthless Bachelors degree from IADT, I really don't have the time nor the money to go through another 4 year undergraduate program. What really tickles my nerves is that initially IADT never mentioned anything about this in the application process. I would strongly advise you that you reconsider attending IADT at all.
