IBD Marketing ,IBD Marketing is a scam! Pompano Beach Florida

*Consumer Suggestion: Sounds Like....

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

We were contacted by IBD Marketing to sell our timeshare in April 2007. We trusted them as they stated they could gaurantee a sale with in six months. Plus the following day we were contacted by another company to sell our timeshare. She asked if we had been contacted by anybody else. We told her yes, IBD Marketing. She said that they lose a lot of prospective customers to them as they were very good. We paid them $799.00 on April 12, 2007.

About a month had passed by and we had not heard from them so we called. We were told that they had a scheduled showing at a resort much like the original one we purchased it from. We waited two weeks after the date of the supposed showing. Not hearing from them we called. We were told that there were two interested buyers but they were waiting for credit approval.

So we waited two more weeks. Again not hearing from them we called. We were told that the two interested buyers could not get credit approval so they had another showing set up. This time we called them the Monday following the showing. They said they were going to set up a more aggressive showing. We waited another week. This time when we called the rep that we spoke to was very rude and told us that it was not her problem that it has not sold! What an idiot!!!! Now the toll free number goes to an answering machine that is full by the way. And their local number in Florida has been disconnected! Their website has been taken down.
There has to be someway to catch these people and throw them in jail!!!! This is nothing but a scam!!! I am out $799.00 - Don't make the same mistake. As for the other company that contacted us. I think they were part of the scam!

They went out of business. And you have them listed as 'realtors'. Telemarketers are NOT realtors, LOL! If somebody promises you THEY can sell something in a certain timeframe, use common sense. Time isn't something you can put a no money down guarantee on.
