Marco Maggiore with Iconic Concepts, which lists its address as 1343 Barclay Blvd, Buffalo Grove, IL, 60089, but later said they had changed addresses to 4180 Route 83, Suite 13, Long Grove IL 60047, says they work for Cavender and need to place an order for imprinted golf balls.
We shipped the balls to Cavender in Tyler, Texas and the balls were received. Cavender in turn paid Inconic Concepts, but Iconic Concepts never paid us.
Iconic Concepts ordered imprinted golf balls from more than one golf club by misrepresenting who they were. They pretend to be the big company and have you ship to the big company, but they are really just the middle man.
The other places that have been misled by them also placed orders and have not received payment from Inconic Concepts.
Iconic Concepts invoiced Cavendar for $1 a piece for each golf ball when they knew our actual cost is $3.25 per golf ball. Was the middle man planning on paying the difference out of pocket? I don't think so.
While this may not seem like a big difference, it actually adds up to thousands of dollars. Iconic Concepts owes us $3,892.50 and owes another golf course more than us.
I have tried to contact Marco Maggiore or anyone at Iconic Conepts numerous times. No one answers the phone, and they will not return my phone calls. I've sent several emails, and they do not respond.
The company that received the golf balls, Cavender, has been very helpful. They are disappointed that they did business with this company and are being cooperative.

Oh really Marco, you say you are not a scammer, huh? Well you are not a very good liar. This news article documenting yours and Lloyds arrest for "money laundering, mail fraud, computer fraud, and theft" speaks volumes about your honesty.

Hello, my name is Marco and I am the person being mentioned in the above report. I am in no way a scammer or try to go around hurting people. Holly from the Alamo Golf Club has a right to feel frustrated as well as upset with the situation. I was a sales rep for the above mentioned company that sells promotional items to end users.
The company had completed a large order with a new client and when the goods were delivered and payment was collected the check issued for payment from the end user bounced leaving Iconic Concepts in a financial mess (it was made even worse as the check originally cleared and checks were written against it before it was later bounced out by Iconic bank). This mess tricked down to vendors that Iconic had used to order product for other jobs with other clients. This is where Holly at Alamo and the other golf vendor that she is mentioning ended up not receiving their payments for the products they sold to Iconic because of the companies cash flow issues.
Iconic is in the process of restructuring and recovery. I have personally taken time away from them (in the fashion of a personal leave for health reasons), as my intention is to resign and no longer rep. them. I have not officially left until the debt owed to effected vendors is cleared up as I feel a personal need to make sure those individuals I ordered product from are taken care of. Today, I reached a payment plan agreement with Holly from Alamo in which she is receiving a good faith payment overnighted to her along with 2 post dated checks for the end of this month and the end of July that when cleared will fulfill the balance owed to her. The other golf club vendor has reached a similar deal with Iconic and has received her checks as well.
So I personally and Iconic have tried to weather the storm so to speak and work with effected vendors to set up programs in which they will be compensated.

I received a call from Marco Maggiore and he told me he runs a promotions company that distributes "green" products at GreenLeafPromotions.com. He is asking for a proposal for design and printing. The similarities are too coincidental. Same general location, same general business, same distinctive name. In my initial research I came across this report and I'm interested in determining if this is the same person.

2) to provide further contact information if others need to locate him

Got a call, but still no money

Marco Maggiore called today. He said "they" finally passed on the message to him that I've been calling. I guess "they" check his personal voice mail for him?? When asked about the company's address, he wasn't sure what the companies address was because he's only a sales rep. The address that they reportedly changed to is "really just his address for billing'. When asked how he planned to make up the difference from the money he got for the order and the actual amount owed for the order, he said the company plans to absorb the cost. He couldn't return my phone calls any sooner because he has been out of town. I don't know why he couldn't respond to my emails. The reason he hasn't paid for the balls yet is that someone wrote them a hot check and now they can't pay their bills. He says he will mail me a check by the end of May.
