Identity Theft, Last Chance Cash Advance Or Trifecta Website I wanted to look at a free credit report I believed they were offering Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: Donna, you have to pay attention.
I believed I was getting a free credit report from all 3 reporting companys. all these other windows were popping up telling me to fill out for protection. I am really not sure why they were asking for all of the other information, anyway I finally got my credit report which turned out not to be free after all. I really was shocked to find a charge on my checking acct.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Donna, you have to pay attention.

Donna,
First of all, you should set your windows settings to block pop ups.
Second, the freecreditreport.com site discloses the terms of the "free" credit report, as well as the fact that you will be subscribed to the "triple advantage" program.
All you have to do is read what you are agreeing too.
Didn't a big red flag pop up when they asked you for a method of payment for something that was "free"???.
Just common sense here.
FYI...The ONLY place online you can get your 3 free credit reports absolutely free as per federal law requiring such free reports is from annualcreditreport.com.
Be aware that with these "free" credit reports, scores are NOT included. You must pay to get your scores.
You can also notify each of the 3 major credit bureaus directly and ask for your free annual credit report.
