Imperial Benefits Scam taking 279$ upfront fee promisssing MasterCard Credit Card lies Champlin New York

At the beginning of December I applied for several different major credit cards online and got turned down because I have no credit experience - I came to US two years ago.

Exactly one month ago I received a phone call from Imperial Benefits and they informed me that I got approved for MasterCard and credit line of 3000$. Being aware of different catalog purchase cards, secured cards, cash cards etc, I asked very specific question: "Is this an unsecured MasterCard credit card?" The asnswer was: "Yes." I also asked if that was the only fee that I would pay. Answer was also positive. Then I agreed to pay 279$ upfront fee.

Yesterday I received a package with bunch of flyers, "how to repair your credit" book and application for Freedom Cash MasterCard, which is nothing but a cash card where you deposit your money first and only then you can use it. They even asked for additional 40$ processing fee. This card can be obtained in almost any retail store of 5-6 bucks. I did Internet search on Imperial Benefits and found out the truth.

I am very grateful to this Website for providing me with information and guidelines so I could retreive my money. I contacted my bank (Bank One) and I got the money back today, hopefully everything will end up well.

Please let me know if there is any other place I can leave this feedback. These guys steal money from people that already have money problems, I can hardly imagine worse scum.
