*UPDATE EX-employee responds: A very Dirty Company
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: In Defense of Imperial
imperial collections is a ripoff. they are not professional .. they have law suits pending against them. i even heard that the company president had to pay a law suit of close to a million dollars for his company sexual harrasment violations involving him and other people of management. they are a bunch of liars. they are never honest. some say that it is proven that the top three in management ceo, vp, and the executive vp snort cocaine and smoke weed. maybe contact the better business bureau and have these jerks submit to a drug test.
once i find out more i will update

A very Dirty Company

I worked for Imperial Collections from Jan 2003 until Jan 2006 out of the Reno, NV office. In my time there, I witnessed alot of very inappropriate behavior by Glen Daniels, owner, Craig DePretto, COO, and Adam Castellanos, VP. I also was offered and witnessed alot of drug usage.
Mr. Daniels and Mr. Depretto; they are both heavy drug addicts, even if they only used on their own time and not company time, it still affected use the employees and therefore evewryone's business. We had a few case where the company didn't pay it's own bills, and most of the lawsuits were very valid.
Well now the company has finally gone out of business because all it's bad practices and lawsuits, I apologize to any customer hurt by the bad apples of the company.

In Defense of Imperial

I worked for Imperial Collections from May 2004 until Jan 2005 out of the Reno, NV office. In my time there, I never saw anything inappropriate or related to drug use by Glen Daniels, owner, Craig DePretto, COO, or Adam Castellanos, VP.
I have nothing but respect for Mr. Daniels and Mr. Depretto; they are both fine gentlemen who are passionate about what they do. IF any of them are drug users, I am confident it would be on their own time and not company time, and therefore, frankly, no one's business.
We are in the business of collecting bills, and lawsuits go along with it - it is an expected cost of doing business. 20+ lawsuits per month is a slow month for a good collection agency - debtor's would rather pay court costs and an attorney rather than their defaulted bills. NEVER NEVER NEVER in my time with them did I EVER see, hear of, or experience ANY FORM of sexual harassment from ANY of these principals. With the exception of Mr. Castellanos (who must have ADD or something and is generally just a spazz), Mr. Daniels and Mr. Depretto conducted themselves in a very professional manner at all times. We had multiple classes on sexual harassment in the workplace, and it was made clear from the start that it would NEVER be tolerated.
I don't know what your beef with them is, but it simply lies, lies, lies.
