Why Panic?

Many people travel on this cruise ship every week and if it was as bad as some of the gripers on ROR say it was I'm sure that it would be out of business by now. Essentially you are getting a couple of dinners, breakfasts, and a round trip to Nassau. You should think of the trip as cheap transportation. The ship was once the Greek Line transatlantic liner OLYMPIA. Some cabin arrangements have been changed but it still offers a glimpse into what things were in the '50's on a transatlantic sailing. The dining room I understand is pretty much original in decor.
When you get to Nassau take off on your own and see what you want to. Avoid the overpriced "Excursions". Nassau is loaded with things to do including public beaches. Spend $10 or go to the library and look at a travel book on Nassau - Fodors or Fielding. You can spend the day that you have there very inexpensively .
I wouldn't panic if I were you. The ship is inexpensive as cruise ships go and if you search on the ship on the Internet you will find ship reviews that will give you some pointers on what and what not to believe and do.
