I purchased my BBQ Island at the Ontario,CA Home Show in March of 2005 and put down a deposit of $500. The salesman that helped me said that I had one year to get my Island into production. Before March of 2006 my husband went down to the Lion's address to choose the final details to the Island as well as paying the 50% which was due to get the Island into production. That was an additional $3,000. The salesman told my husband that it will take up to 10 - 12 weeks for delivery. Theu called me in late August to deliver the Island but we were not going to be home that weekend to recive it. "MIKE the delivery coordinator said that he would be calling me back to reschedule.

He called me back a few weeks later and said that they would be delivering my Island the second week of November. Well, this is where the story really begins. The day before the were going to deliver my Island a women called me and said that she worked for Imperial and that my Island delivery was cancelled because Imperial was merging with another company and they were stopping all production. She said that someone would be incontact with me to offer me a discount of some sort.

"MIKE called me a week later to tell me that they would take $200 off my balance and that my Island will be ready for delivery in January of 07. I called the office early Jan.& mid to late Jan and heard the same answering maching...which stated that Imperial was out for the holidays and will be back in the office Jan.8. With the same message playing over and over I knew something wasn't right.

I decided to drive to the Lion's building and come to find that "Imperial" had been Evicted on Jan 9. Since then I have been in contact with many people who have been scamed by this company, and to find out that they have moved there company (which is now a new name)just around the corner from the lions building. I have spent a great deal of time researching the fraud that Owner Phillip Bovard & CEO Luis Gutierrez have been doing for many years.

These men have numerous DBA's and have been doing this to too many innocent people all over the world. Those of you who have been scamed please know that law innforcment is involved and I feel confident that these crooks will be put away.
