Like so many others I fell for the bait of a free 40GB IPOD if I completed the offers from the list of advertisers. NO PROBLEM RIGHT..... WRONG. Oh, I completed the offers just fine. Spent a little money, but hey... it's for a free IPOD. Initially things seemed on the up and up. I completed all 6 offers and even got the website to update my status as QUALIFIED.
It gave a link to print my voucher to send in to get my IPOD and I quickly ran it to the post office and sent it away. That's where things went downhill fast. I sent the voucher of nearly a month ago. Since then my status still shows that my voucher has not been received. OK fine... maybe it was lost in the mail. I sent another and e-mailed through the website about 5 times about my concerns.... NOTHING. That's the problem. This company makes it impossible to get in touch with them. Nowhere on their website do they even post their Customer Service number. It wasn't until I found this site that I found the hotline, which by the way is just a voicemail.
So I've called this number now several times and left my info.... guess what.... still nothing. Now I see on this website that I'm in no way alone in my peril. Seems like everyone has a similar story. MAN, I wish I had saw this site before I fell for this scam. I do notice that a select few have been contacted by the infamous JEFF and a couple have even reported that they got their merchandise that they were owed. Well here's my two cents to add to all the rest. I too would like to be graced enough to talk to the mystery man JEFF and discuss my problems before the company tries to weazle out of their end of the bargain.
I'm not asking for anything that hasn't been promised to all of us. Throughout this process I fought my gut telling me this is a scam. I still want to believe a company puts it product or service out there and lets the public decide whether to participate or not and then, most importantly does what it says it will do. I should have bolted when I saw the great lengths this company goes through to make themselves invisible. As I see all the other reports of fraud and zero communication I am just getting more and more pissed. I had to come here to find all the alias company names this place has and not to mention that the company is based in North Carolina and not Florida as their website claims.
WELL, I guess they were right, there's a sucker born every minute. But I will say this. This sucker is going to talk....A LOT. I may never get my IPOD, but I assure you I will pursue every legal means to seek action against this company and publicize what they're up to. I urge anyone else who feels hung out to dry and helpless to contact the North Carolina Dept. of Justice Consumer Protection Section and file a claim of this criminal activity. They seemed very willing to help resolve this issue and don't appreciate the type of business these guys are up to in their state. There are other means such as the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC to address these issues and I will be looking into all of them.
Finally. This is a message for Jeff. Throughout this process all I have wanted to do is talk to a real person and not a e-mail address, which you guys obviously don't monitor. Please contact me and hopefully we can resolve this matter amicably. Since you don't respond to emails sent directly to your company maybe you monitor this site and are aware of the reputation your company is getting. It's not right. And if you're any kind of businessman you'll realize that and do the right thing.
BY THE WAY. THIS WEBSITE IS GREAT. FINALLY CONSUMERS DON'T HAVE TO SIT BY AND TAKE IT WITHOUT AT LEAST HAVING A VOICE. THANKS.

SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE Got an email
AUTHOR: Jeremy - (U.S.A.)

Got an email stating my gift has shipped and even got a tracking number for it. It's currently somewhere between Orlando Florida and my house. Patience is a virtue when dealing with these guys. Just letting you guys know this horror story can have a happy ending. Good Luck.
