If indinahair.net has defrauded you, I recommend you return the hair (despite the argument of federal law and health regulations) and dispute the costs with your financial agency proffering evidence to include the numerous reviews and video documentary available online, which will support your claim. Allow indianhair.net to determine their course of action upon receipt of the defective product and numerous claims of fraud.

Indinahair.net's use of the law as a shield is an optimal escape from liability. Here, federal law prohibits the return of "human" hair products, which have been used. However, a consumer is unaware of the defect until after the "human" hair is actually used. Hence, indianhair.net will continue to deceive consumers by using this advantageous loophole. Well, I plan to give them a run for their money, and demonstrate exactly how one uses the law as a means of justice.

I purchased hair advertised as, "100%, unprocessed, natural indian hair." This is the furthest from the truth.

The hair remained tangled and actually formed knots. Once sewn in, it blends very well. However, after only a few moments, without much movement, the hair begins to tangle (specifically in the back, closest to the scalp). This required combing every few minutes, which caused insurmountable shedding.

Upon receipt of the hair it appeared to be a normal bundle of indian hair. The defect was not discovered until after paying $500 for it to be sewn in.

I immediately contacted indianhair.net who advised that I condition the hair with leave-in conditioner. This did not improve the hair. I remained in communication with a representative named, Lily. I forwarded a detailed statement regarding the defective hair accompanied by pictures. The customer service is just as fraudulent as the the company's advertisement, which states:

"At Indian Hair Store Inc. we stand behind our products and guarantee customer satisfaction 100%.  Each and every bundle of hair is inspected and prepared under professional supervision in our factory in India.   After thorough cleaning and inspection, the hair gets sent to our distribution and warehouse centers across the country.  There the hair receives a second round of inspection before getting shipped out to our customers.   All of our hair goes through a meticulous process to ensure that you are receiving the best quality product possible."

Lily, continued to give me the "run around" and of course I never heard back from her or any "representative" she claimed would review the complaint. After speaking with my personal stylist and other vendors of indian hair, each expert in the field has concluded that the hair appears to be a mixture of permed, low quality hair, and indian hair.

Words alone will never express this experience. I purchased the hair because it was less expensive than all other vendors (literally). This should have been a red flag, as the hair costs nearly $100 less per bundle than other vendors I have previously purchased from.

The hair tangled terribly. It was so execrable that I could only wear it pinned in a bun or in a braid. It was embarrassing. While out in public, constantly combing my fingers through the knots that would instantly form. All while the hair is shedding, falling to the floor or on the table around me and others in my presence.

I urge you, DO NOT allow indianhair.net to mislead you. The product that I received is not 100% indian hair and does not represent their advertisement of hair that undergoes, "a meticulous process to ensure that you are receiving the best quality product possible." As a result of indianhair.net's greed and unconscionable business practices, I lost over $1000. Once having the defective hair sewn in, I had it removed, purchased quality hair, and had the quality hair sewn in totaling over $1000.

DO NOT ALLOW INDIANHAIR.NET TO CONTINUE TO ROB THE COMMUNITY WITH IT'S UNPRINCIPLED BUSINESS PRACTICES! IF YOU HAVE SUFFERED THE EXACT EXPERIENCE, I URGE YOU TO WRITE A REVIEW AND PUT THE WORLD ON NOTICE!

Hello, anonymous from Brentwood.

It is unfortunate that you had a bad experience with IndianHair.Net. We strive to make it very clear to all customers on how to properly care for the hair and to make sure to test the product before use within 7 days of receipt.

We inspect and prepare every hair, even after it is thoroughly cleaned and inspected, we inspect it again and cowash it before we ship it out to customers to see if the hair is matting or shedding.

Our hair is all natural - only comes in black or brown and comes from different donors, which is why we cannot guarantee hair color or texture 100% of the time. We are not responsible for any changes or alterations (chemical processing, cutting, coloring, or texturizing) done to the hair once it has left our warehouse.

We make it very clear that we do not accept any product that has been used.  We do; however, offer hair replacement if there is truly something defective with the product and we receive proof from the customer within the 7 days of receiving the shipment where they have tested the product without wearing it. We do ask for the defective hair back.

We send this information with every package, which is also located on our website under FAQs:

Can I color this hair?

Yes, this hair can be colored with professional permanent, semi-permanent, and cellophane colors.

Once the hair has been colored, it is no longer considered "virgin" hair & so we cannot guarantee the hair after it has been treated in any way.

Can I order a sample of the hair?

Yes, you can order samples of the hair. Each sample will be 2"-3" wide, so that  you can feel the hair and perform various test on the hair, for a small price to cover the FEDEX shipping of $10.

How much hair is needed?

A minimum of 8 ounces of hair is needed for a full weave depending on how full you'd like the finished style. A minimum of 8 ounces of hair is needed for braiding or fusion.

Maintenance Instructions for Straight/ Wavy & Signature Curly Hair

Shampooing & Rinse

You can wash your virgin Remy Indian hair as often as you would like. We recommend you to wash the hair at least once a week but try to wash it every 2-3 days. The cleaner the hair is, the more beautiful it becomes. When shampooing your hair, use a mild shampoo and warm water. We recommend Dove Shampoo (for Ruff and Dry hair). Lather the shampoo in between your hands and start from tip to root. Wash the hair in a downward motion and in a gentle stream, and rinse the shampoo out.

Conditioning

It is very important the hair stays hydrated and moisturized to keep its shine, luminosity, and durability. Use a Moisturizing conditioner (such as Dove) with the hair to ensure the hair will receive deep conditioning which helps keep it silky soft. Apply conditioner generously from tips to root, rinse with warm water under a gentle stream.

Drying your Indian Hair

After washing your hair, we recommend using a leave in conditioner to ensure the hair is safe from heat styling and humidity. Enjoy Shine and Smooth, is an excellent silicone based serum which helps keep flyways tamed and the hair protected all day! Comb hair with a wide toothed comb and then blow dry hair on cool heat settings so the cool air seals the cuticles and makes the hair glossy.

Weekly Treatments for the Hair.

This is optional. Since the hair is not attached to the scalp it is not receiving the same nutrients. It is important to restore health back into the hair after excessive heat styling and the wear and tear of weather. We love Enjoy Hair Mask and Olive oil Treatments. These treatments can be done once a week to ensure the hair is restored. You will feel like you just bought the fresh hair with these treatments! Give your hair some TLC! (Tender Loving Care).

Heating

Avoid using heat exceeding 280 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a straightening iron sparingly, and avoid using heat styling tools with straightening treatments.

If you do not follow these instructions, undoubtedly, the hair will damage. We urge our customers to please read all the instructions and care and test the product within the first 7 days to find a defect in the hair before doing anything with the product like sewing it and dying it in your hair... before it is too late for us to help you replace the product.

We don't get many complaints from our clients, which is about 50,000 clients worldwide, but when we do, we find that it is simply an issue that the customer did not follow or read the instructions. Majority of our clients are very satisfied with our products and have been long standing customers with us for a very long time.

You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.  Many of our clients send their photos to us to show how much they love the hair and we post it with their permission. We love our clients and want only the best for them and want to beautify their hair. This is why we take care in our customer service and in our products.

Thank you for your time.
