We bought an Indies mobile home value 50,000.00 No work has been done to repair mess ups. Wasn't told they were in bankruptcy until we got the home and made a list of repairs to be done. Airconditioner and duct work under trailer needs redone, cracks in every ceiling stud, studs pruding from backside of trailer. Home does not stay cool, had to buy window units. Wrote letters to the Alabama and Louisiana mobile home organization. Was told to hire a personal lawyer. If I would have know this company was going bankrupt, I would have never bought this trailer. Now we are stuck with doing the repairs.
We live in Buras, Louisiana I have no money for lawyers are repair work. We are just now starting to get our life together after hurricane KATRINA. We are not looking for a hand out, we just want whats wrong with the trailer to be fixed. Just our entergy bill runs 440.00 a month.
If you know of anything that can be done to help us in this matter please let me know. This is a sorry way to take advantage of people having to start all over again.
