Indulgence Poor Return Policies and poor customer service San Diego California

I have gone to Indulgence a few times because of the convenience of its location to my house but they typically are out of the product I'm looking for.  The last time I went, I bought a large bottle of Nioxin conditioner.  It was the last one in the store.  When I brought it home to try it for the first time, it was very runny in consistency.  It looked watered down and separated.  This is a product I've been using for years so I knew the consistency is typically much thicker than this bottle.

I tried to return the conditioner a week later after only one use but they refused to take it back.  The wife of the owner even agreed the conditioner was watered down but continued to refused my refund of $45!  After politely arguing with both the sales clerk, the owner's wife, who was styling a client's hair at the time, and the owner over the phone, I finally gave up informing the sales clerk i would spread the word of their poor business practices.  

I warn everyone. DO NOT GO to this store.
