Let me make it clear when I say that this is the worst insurance company I have ever had for coverage. I only planned to use them for 6 months and they gave a fairly decent payment amount considering my circumstances.

On June 24th I had an accident (I hit a parked car) so when I called to give my claim at the end of the call the guy said are you aware that your policy is cancelled and I responded no my policy just renewed (the beginning of my problem). When the adjuster finally called me 3 days later she also stated I was cancelled for non-payment. I advised her that when I went to the site it only said I owed $30 for the add/delete I had done on my policy. After calling their Customer Service dept I was informed that when my policy came up for renewal I had to pay a renewal premium. I informed the lady that I had never had this type of policy bcse all of my previous policies had auto renewed. When I got home I found the information from them that showed I received a letter date June 18 saying I had a renewal payment due on the 22nd or my policy would cancel. I can honestly say when I receive renewal paperwork I only look at the policy and payment amounts (which is what I did here).

The customer service rep then informed me that I had 5 days to pay and my policy would renew to the cancellation date and that day was my 5th day. I stated ok bcse now my accident would be covered. She then informed me that since I had an accident my policy would be effective that day (June 27th). I then went online and made the payment and my policy renewed becoming effective June 22th the cancellationd date. When I spoke with my adjuster I advised her that my policy was effective as of the 22nd so the accident should be covered. I was then told that when I made an online payment I was supposed to check a box that stated I had an accident. I tried telling her that no such box popped up for me to check but my comment was disregarded and she made it seem as if I was lying. Now my problem with this is that throughout this entire orderal I have taken responsiblity for my part in not thoroughly reading my renewal paperwork although I wasn't accustomed to this type of policy. So why would I lie now about the system asking if I had an accident especially since my accident was on file in a claim. 

I even called customer service to ask about this box I was supposed to check when I made my payment and the girl said that I couldn't process my payment without selecting the box and again I explained that I wasn't given this option and she too treated me like I was lying and kept saying I should have checked the box. My response stating that no box option was given was totally disregarded.

Now today (7-5-12) someone has called requesting to take pictures of my vehicle and when I called customer service to ask why they are taking pictures if they aren't covering they transferred me to my adjuster. This company has given me nothing but the run around. I leave messages for my adjuster and she never returns my calls. I
