I recieved a postcard in the mail stating that I had been approved for a credit card with a limit of $2,500 and If I responded to that ad I would recieve a 2 night 3 day weekend getaway to a nice resort of my choice. Well, I was pregnant and I needed a credit card to help pay for some of the expenses. I called and the customer service rep told me it was a program designed to help re-establish my credit.

It had so many features to offer such as: free Direct TV, discounts at major hotels and a prescription/dental and vision plan. I asked how much and I was told $249.99, but that I would recieve a credit on my account for any purchase that I might want to make with the credit card I was going to recieve. It was supposed to be for $200.

I thought it over and I had some extra money, I thought it would be a good idea to start rebuilding my credit, because I wanted to buy a house for me and my son. I contacted them a second time and told them I would do it. I had to give them my bank acct. number and I was told my package should be arriving via UPS in 10-14 business days. I was also told that there was a 30 day money back guarantee if I was dissatisfied. Well, 2 weeks went by no package.

I called them to see what was going on and I was assured it has been processed and will be at my residence within a day or two. About 2 months went by and I finally recieved the package. It was a whole bunch of merchandise vouchers(looked like coupons) for a catalog, the card was just a member card with "Triple Benefits Gold Member" on it.

I was very disappointed, so I called them back. A service rep assured me once again, the credit card is mailed separately, because I have to fill out my personal info and send it back to them. I waited for the credit card application. It never came. I then tried to call them back to complain, but the phone either rang all day, was busy, was disconnected or no longer in service. I have tried to call all the numbers included in the packet I recieved and all of the same responses: phone is busy, rings all day, disconnected or no longer in service.

I have filed a report with the Attorney General's office and I am planning on calling my state senators and the NY senators, since the company was supposedly based out of NY. I am trying to get phone numbers to some political office holders in Canada, since that is where the company is supposed to actually be.
