Innovative Merchant Solutions is a credit card processing company. That clearly and regular operates by saying one thing and doing another. They tout their customer service as tops when actually, their standard operating procedures employs deceptive practices. Once they get you to sign on it is then that you discover that you are locked in for life. If you should ever want to change processors you will be charged a $295.00 fee, regardless. They also have a chargeback fee of $50.00 compared to $25.00 for other companies, They also charge a yearly fee of $75.00 compared to other companies who have on yearly fee. They are subject to hold your monies based on their own discretion at rates such as $266.68 dollars for $8.00 fees and they are held for a length of time "At their own discretion". It is true that their customer reps who answer the phones are polite but, it is the supervisors who are trained in gorilla warfare. They are often uncaring, unhelpful, rude and confrontational in their "customer service" practices. It is only after you have signed on to the company that you get the full disclosure on their "Lying" business practices. Their various departments appear to suffer from a lack of communication as well, often leaving the customer to play detective to connect the obvious details of basic operations.

I have had two former employees of this company come to my shop and warn me that they left the company because of the ill practices and misleading information they were often scripted to supply to prospective customers. Innovative Merchant Solutions is Preditary because there top managers and supervisors have no interest at all in servicing their clients they have one agenda and one agenda only, and it is not to service their customers. It is to make money, lots of it at their customers expense by any means necessary!!! That is why they can be so rude, unfair, deceptive, and preditary in their business practices. After being with this company it very clear that the industry of credit card processing is unregulated!!!!!! Do your self a favor and do your homework when search for a credit card processing company, use a company with some sort of moral compass.....This company has none!!! There are companies out that that do full disclosure, don't talk down to you once they sign up, and are interested even in the small business. Unfortunately, this company is not one of them. And I will warn everyone to steer clear of them!!!!

The first thing that jumps out at me when I read this complaint is the comment about employees leaving because of ill practices and misleading information scripted for them. It is important to note, first of all, that those are independent sales representatives and not employees. Second, and very important to note, that people training sales representatives in a improper manner are the ones we are working to stop when we can discover who they are and what they are doing. But those individuals on the street are not employees of IMS, are not trained by IMS, and in no way represent IMS' policies and procedures (when misrepresenting) on how we operate the business.

In regard to the holding of funds, as I've stated in other reports, this is an unfortunate fact about credit card processing. We do our best to resolve security issues quickly, but we must rely on the card issuing banks and the merchants to cooperate with us to help expedite the process.

And finally we are sorry to learn that you are not happy with the experiences you have had with customer service. I assure you that we do take pride in servicing the customer, even of you have an occasional interaction to the contrary. But we are most certainly not predatory, liars or deceptive. If you contact our Customer Service Center anyone will be happy to answer a question that you have. Sometimes this may require research, but we always strive to find and provide the information that you seek.
