Inphonic Cell Phone Rebate Ripoff White Bear Lake Minnesota

Like everyone else I submitted my rebate info, followed the instructions to a t, waited about 7 weeks, did not hear anything.I called to see what was going on after finding nothing on website. I was told they never received the rebate info. Funny, I sent a rebate in the same day on contacts I bought and I got the check on that 2 weeks ago. I called and they said nothing in system. I said ok I can resubmit it. I was adv I could not because then it would be out of the 180 day time period.

It clearly states on my rebate form that rebates must be postmarked no more than 210 days from activation date. They argued with me on that. Got it in black and white right in front of me. I spoke with 2 different people and they both were very rude. I asked to speak with their superviser and both placed me on hold and came back in about 1 minute or less to tell me no sups available. The last person I talked to did offer to have one call me back. We will see.

After I talked to them I called Verizon to double check my activitation date. I was correct. The person at Verizon was so very nice to me and I had not even told him what was going on with the rebate. After speaking with the rebate company I was so impressed with the customer service I received from Verizon I proceeded to tell Verizon what I had just gone thru with the rebate company and the customer service person asked me how much my rebate was. I told him 50.00. He told me he would go ahead and give me a credit on my bill for the 50.00. Can you believe that? I have been using Verizon for about 5 years now for my home phone, cell, internet and just recently cable. They have made some mistakes but they have always made them right with just a phone call. My situation worked out well because Verizon stepped up to the plate and took responsibility for my rebate. After all, when I got my phone the cell company that was offered was Verizon so I think they should. Good luck to everyone!
