InstrumentAlley operates a store on eBay, as well as an internet site. They offer musical instruments at a "buy it now" price on eBay, which is reasonable.

We purchased a Johnson Guitar package from them using the "buy it now" feature, for our son as a Christmas gift. We paid for our order the same day using PayPal. They accepted our money, but did not contact us regarding ship/delivery date.

We purchased this item on Dec 18, 2004, because the shipping time indicated it would arrive in time for Christmas.

When repeated attempts to contact them through e-mail failed, we tried calling only to be told to use e-mail to contact them, a real catch-22 situation.
This went on over a 4 day period, and time was running very short for a Christmas delivery. We still felt we would pay the extra for expedited shipping. We finally got an e-mail from InstrumentAlley saying..and I quote" I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE!".

We cancelled and asked for a refund. We indicated perhaps if they could not handle the larger volume at Christmastime, perhaps they should hire more help. We got a nasty email, and our money back. They kept sending emails asking for feedback on eBay, which we ignored as we did not wish to leave negative feedback and refused to leave positive feedback. Finally, in Feb., we left a neutral..transaction cancelled by mutual consent to which they replied that we were rude and to avoid us as buyers or sellers on eBay. I think this man acted very un-professionally and his childish remarks warrant a report to others to AVOID this company.
