Heavy sigh, after one hour on net learning about cramming and making inquiry to Nationwide Voice Mail & Integretel, in a nut-shell here it is: Recvd Bell So. bill for Apr. yesterday, new charge dated 2/26 "sign up fee for Voice Mail Service" cheap, $15.40, incl tax. P/C'ed 800 # for Nationwide. Not ME but another individual on computer "took advantage" of their introductory offer on "Group Lotto" site. (It was a sweepstakes, the individual did not read fine print, gave phone #. HERE COMES THE PROBLEM.

I stated the bill is in MY name, it is not authorized BY ME-no voice mail service ever received, will not pay, take off Bell So. bill. The rep advised me they had access to US POSTAL info and Mr. XXX XXXX has his mail delivered to this address, the phone co. records indicate same address, therefore I am responsible. I don't think so. Told her she had a rotten job and hung up.

Emailed Integretel. Recvd reply w/in 24 hrs, asking billing info, sent and recvd this reply, "sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction w/our clients service...we are providing billing services on behalf of Nationwide NWVM chooses to handle their own cust. service" & they give me 800#. Look up "Cramming" on net-yup that is me, crammed. I would like everyone to GO TO INTEGRETEL's web, they pride themselves as on Board of Directors of CERB, "Coalition to Ensure Responsible Billing"- GO TO their website, they are designed to prevent cramming and protect consumer.

I have called Bell So, they are taking off my bill BUT that hold is only good for 3 months! I'll call in 3 months, its in my calendar. After reading cramm schemes I also blocked 900 #'s, before the handwriting goes on the wall. Nationwide or Integretel bills, I'll write FCC. $15.40?? no, more than that.

Who are they to have US Postal info, thought only attorneys w/legal interest and gov't agencies had access to same? Who are they to bill one named customer for another person's mistake-cram or scam? And what did Bell So say in explanation to how it happened without MY authorization? "We are just providing billing services for this company." No wonder I got billed $15.40 for a sign up for no service! This is not cram, it is crap.

The consumer is being crapped on, and it is being crammed up our butts. You have to fight for something rightfully, privately yours with huge $$$ corporations who smile over their "rights"-STRESS? No, not for Joe Average.

They Do Not Use US Postal Info

Nationwide Voice Mail or as they now call themselves Enhanced Voice Mail. They have used many different Names such as United Voice Mail or Messaging, Nationwide Voice Mail or Messaging, Residential Voice Mail and now Enhanced Voice Mail. Their order form is legit but they prey on people not reading it. The service is real but does not allow the callerto talk to the person only to leave a message. The managers use fake last names when talking to a "customer". The Customer Service Reps "have" to try to sell at a lower rate. The natioal line item data base they use to track addresses on orders is none other than internet white pages. Many business get charged to because they do not verify the phone number listed.
