This company needs to be put out of business immediately.  Upon arriving at my apartment they informed me that they would charge me 20% more than originally quoted, even though I very accurately listed the furniture that needed to be moved when we signed our original contract.  They also informed me that, although it was stipulated in the contract that I could pay by credit card, their credit card machine was "broken" and I would therefore have to go to my bank to withdraw cash.  After they left, I realized that they had "mistakenly" packed a box of my valuables (which I had meant to transport myself) while my back was turned.

Once they arrived at my destination (7 hours late) they began unloading my furniture and I realized that, although I had paid for the service, they had not actually wrapped any of my furniture in protective blankets.  My dining set and antique furniture was ruined, there was a two-foot hole in the side of my mattress (which was also filthy) and they had snapped the leg off of my sectional sofa.

I kept track of the boxes as they unloaded them and told them when they were finished that there was a box missing.  They insisted that I was wrong - a label must have fallen off a box somewhere - and it was impossible for me to inspect the truck, due to the amount of other customers' belongings in the truck.  After they left and I began unpacking the boxes, I realized that the box they had "mistakenly" forgotten to unload was my box of valuables.

Over 30 phone calls to their customer service center later, I still cannot get anyone to bother to find out if they can locate my missing box.  Every time I call the managers are "busy" or "on the phone" and the customer service agents are apparently unable to do anything for me.  I suspect if I still owed them money I would be allowed to talk to a manager.  My current estimate for damages is over $3,000.
