I used the Peoplesearch service to try to find the name attached to a phone # that was texting me. I agreed to pay the $0.99 for the info -- which was completely wrong and fraudulent. I carefully avoided opting in to their service. But when I checked my CC bill, there is a $19.95 charge. Their customer service is completely unresponsive. NEVER give your credit card number to any entity associated with Intelius -- they will steal from you.
