Well I should have trusted my instincts and believed the reports I saw about Intelius. They are an absolute joke and a total scam!

I have been unable to land a job interview for almost two years, and never had a problem before that. I know the economy is broken, but I know many people that can still find work. My wife suggested that my identity might have been compromised because some unusual names showed up on my credit reports; she thought that I should run a background check on myself and see what came up.

The only two I could find that seemed possibly legit were Intelius and USSearch, I'd heard of Intelius before so I chose them. I entered my credit card info thinking I'd get a redirect to enter SSN, DOB, etc, all I got was a message that they found employment records on me; for $7.95 I could see what they had. Stupid me, I went and paid the crooks. The information I got back, was less far useful than my credit reports had been. Almost nothing actually pertained to me. The employment reports were for a lawyer 60 miles from me with a similar name, I think I might call him and sue these bozos.
