International Claim Department , First Capital Securities Inc. NORTH AMERCIAN SHOPPERS SWEEPSTAKES SWEEPSTAKES SCAM Chatham Ontario

Received notification via mail of sweepstakes winnings of 250,000 USD. Enclosed was a check in the amount of 4,875.00 USD drawn on Camden National Bank 2 elm street, Camden ME 04843-0310 from First Capital Securities INC. This check claimed to be for payment of government tax in the amount of 2,975.00. The tax was to be paid by either MONEY GRAM OR WESTERN UNION directly to the tax agent. The claim was that I was declared a winner in the North American Shoppers Sweepstakes.

The letter also stated not to attempt to use the check until you call the claim agent, Mrs Sandra Jackson at 1-905-598-0224. The letter was signed by Mrs Brenda Hicks (Promotion Manager). Because their are so many scams I was skeptical I researched it online and found information about it on your website.
