Where to begin? First off, International (Scam) Motors Productions was recommended to me by a mechanic friend of mine. Since this time I am no longer considering him my friend or a good mechanic after my experience at International Motor productions, the only truth to their name is it truly is a PRODUCTION. On Thursday of the previous week a colleague of mine phoned me and asked me to join him in a search for a new car, preferably a BMW. So as a good friend and A BMW enthusiast, I agreed to help him make a solid purchase of a used BMW. So, as the story goes we drove over to International and walked onto their lot in their new warehouse. We were approached by a gentleman who identified himself as John; really all I saw was greasy haired used car sales man. John proceeded to bloviate about how they sell roughly eighty cars a month, thats the biggest bunch of B S*** I have ever heard and that was the first red flag. So, we walked around and looked at some of their inventory, first off this is a wholesaler and you really dont expect much but WOW!!! Just walking around you could feel the s**t, looked on the floor and there was engine oil and transmission oil all over the place. Moving along, we come to a 2003 745li BMW with 101k miles which they wanted way to much money for. Look, we realized that was a lot of mileage, however if the car had been serviced well and maintained against the BMW recommended services schedules then why not take a closer look. Well, first the car wouldnt even crank over, second you could tell someone had tried to repair the front fender and didnt blend the paint right. Around this time, there was a blue 745li right in front of the one we were looking into. I jumped into the driver seat and cranked it up, and man I feel sorry for the person who buys this car. The engine sounded like complete a*s and the computer was trying to shut down some of the cylinders, big misfire. So I turn off the car, jumped out, and I guess I said it was a piece of s*** to loud and the owner Brigitte Brown was out there and got all defensive and made up some excuse she ran out of gas and the engine was misfiring do to her running out of gas. YEAH WHATEVER!!! Ok back to the story. Other then that; the other 2003 745li looked from a cosmetic level to be in good to excellent condition. My buddy and I decided well its late and we would go home for the evening and sleep on it. The next day, we had a long conversation and cranked open the old computer/internet and what do you know nothing but bad press on these clowns. Having agreed to return the next day we did so, but with our radars on full perk. In my mind we werent buying this car. My buddy insisted on taking it for a drive and driving it over to my mechanic friend. I entered into a conversation with John, we started to run through the car with him and I mentioned the service two requirements. OH JOHNNY BOY!!! Man was he uneasy after that question; clearly this car with this type of mileage would have transmission problems if not serviced. John, proceeds to tell me the car doesnt need to have the transmission fluid changed, just spark plugs or we could purchase a warranty! Oh John, stop selling BMWs now you have no idea what youre talking about! You should probably stick to those Toyota mini vans you have in the warehouse. John walks into his office and claims he called the dealership, when clearly he didnt, comes back and tells us the dealership says no you dont have to do that. WOW!!! LIES!!! So, we said ok, well we will take it to the dealership and have them tell us that, OH NO JOHNNY WASNT HAVING THAT!!! His response, (A good one) was, Do you have an appointment? NO. He comes back with; well we need to make an appointment with them so we know when you will be there and back. So we asked, why dont we just take it for a drive now and JOHNNY BOY wouldnt have that either. So needless to say that was a $37,000 dollar mistake on Johns part and we walked or more so ran off the lot and the a*****e had the balls to call me a p***k. Anyways, you see on the way home the previous night, I saw a beautiful 750i sitting on what appeared to be a legitimate lot right around the corner. So my buddy and I drove over there, and man what a relief. Spencer the sales guy was a professional from the start (they are on midway RD in Addison Tx) and sold my buddy a 2007 750i BMW Black/on Black with 53,000 miles with the $6,500 dollar sports package upgrade (22 wheels) man what a car!!! Gorgeous car truly purchased from a private BMW auction which John and Bridgett would never be welcome at. So in summary, John may sell eighty cars a month but not to me or my friends. For those of you reading this, stay away, these types of out fits need to be bled and put out of business.

Poster or "Poser"

AUTHOR: CarGuy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 23, 2013

I have been doing business with John for 19 years, and Bridgett for 4. This Poster, or more accurately "Poser" has misrepresented this dealership and the integrity of the owner and staff. After reading the "Magna-Carta" review he wrote, it is clear to any reasonable person that he knows virtually nothing about the wholesale auto business and even less about BMW's, which explains the combative attitude after his friend discovered that the "Poser" is an idiot. He is the least likely candidate to be offering any "help" to friends, much less buying anything on his own. For your information Einstein, unless the "USED" BMW you are trying to purchase (don't worry, someday you will be able to afford a new one, and you can brag some more about the inventory tax you had to pay, and get first hand experience on the requirement to make an appointment for service at BMW) is purchased from a BMW Dealership as "Certified", all of the other used BMW's are purchased by used car dealers from the same auctions, and likely were "passed on" by the Flag Dealers as not certifiable. So....Your temper tantrum is most likely a reaction to your own embarrassment once your "friend" (and John) realized that you don't know anything about the car business or how to select and purchase a car, while posing to be an expert. I am sure you represented to your "friend" that you would "help" him get the right deal, and you absolutely know how to inspect and select the best car. I feel sorry for your friend. The salesman from the other store that sold you the M3 made more commission than you earn in a month, and you are "bragging"?. Next time... take someone with you that actually knows what they are doing, and try something new and different...try telling the truth.....it might just help you to some day afford a new BMW.

International (Scam) Motors Productions Addison / Carrollton

AUTHOR: Julian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 13, 2011

I haven't been back for a while after the original post. I am back in the market and just purchased another BMW but not from these clowns. I couldn't help but laugh and wonder what John's excuse or the, "other side of the story is and I should
call and hear his lies. Folks what is real is I just spent $70,000 on another BMW but not with International Motors Addison / Carrollton. I also couldn't help but laugh at the response of one of their employees calling the car in question a luxury car. Here are the facts; the car was a 2005 with 100,000 miles on it. My friend that is far from luxury, and John didnt want the car looked over by a mechanic because he knew it was a POS! I just bought an M-6 CPO and that is luxury, pretty hard to hold this type of inventory on a wholesale lot, the inventory tax is more then all these piss poor sales people make in a year.

So the facts are exactly that, I have spent well over $100,000 on cars for myself and my wife and again it wasn't at International Motor Productions Addison / Carrollton Texas. As far as refusing someones business, an old saying is, help someone make an honest purchase they will tell one person, lie to them and they will tell MILLIONS.  Bridget Brown I am sure is a nice woman, but unfortunately in business managing people and those charlatans most often reflects on the business. Leadership from the top down!

All the best!!!

Great Place and Cars

AUTHOR: Martin - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, August 07, 2011

Aaaw Boy You are one Angry Man talkin S..T......Commenting on how Brigette Brown, cant go to those private Auctions as you call it,well there is not a Auction she hasen't been to in DFW area and there is not a single auctioneer who doesnt know her... Whats the difference between a private bmw auction vs. a regular auction? NOTHING, other than the fact it is ALL bmw's!!
Also, she sold more cars than half of the dealers in Dallas, all  together. Just so you are aware, they have the right to rufuse  you taking the expensive car like that and take it anywhere, without appointment. They do sell about 80 cars a month-I have seen it! They have the lowest prices ever and great cars!

NOT TRUE

AUTHOR: impautos.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 12, 2010

Wow, I am genuinely glad that we did not do business with these guys. One guy was very disruptive and used loud profanity on more than one occasion. The funny thing is that he even admits to yelling profanity in our show room in his report.

We really do sell around 80 cars per month. If we did not do good business how would we be in the top 500 dealers of nearly 8000 in Texas? I am happy to report that after 17 years in business we have a rich following of very satisfied customers.

Unfortunately the old saying you can make some people happy some of the time, but you cannot make all of the people happy all of the time holds true. And there is always another side to every story.

If you are the kind of person that makes his/her own opinions, please come visit us for yourself. We have very nice cars and very good prices. We do not have pushy sales people or use high pressure sales tactics. If you want to hear the other side of this story please feel free to call us at 972-478-7900. You an also get more information about our company at www.internationalmotor.com
