International Tax Associates Rip Off Buffalo Grove Illinois

I got scammed by these people in kinda the same way as all these other posts. These people have a telemarketer constantly call you and pressure you to use their services. They send out a sales person to tell you what is wrong with your company and how much their services can save you in TAXES.
They told me that I had the choice of paying $149,000 in federal taxes on my company or if I used their services I could pay $22,500 in taxes, my choice. The savings on taxes would more than cover what they charge of $25,000.
Then I was told that for the $25,000 that included a TAX ANALASIS so I could take my company forward paying min tax.
The ANALASIS consisted of pretty generic tax information such as VEBA, hiring my kids, investing in real estate (I already had 8 properties) etc. Nothing was said that my CPA did'nt already know.
This company preys on small construction firms, mom & pop shops that most likely does not have alot of accounting, tax experence etc. BE CAREFUL.
Oh, that year after my CPA did my taxes I paid a total of $16,482 in federal taxes and did nothing that they suggested. I asked my CPA where they came up with $149,000 figure. It came from figureing tax on my gross profit not net.
I wonder how that happened? hmmmmmmmmm
