BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!

I wish I had done some research on this company before I bought from them, however this was my first real foray into internet shopping. I checked out their site (www.kingofswords.com) and they had a lot of really neat stuff on there for reasonable prices. After thoroughly checking their shipping and return policies, as well as their "No Tollerance fraud policy" where they CLAIM to protect their customers against internet fraud and aid the FBI against internet fraud, they looked legit.

So I purchased three items and paid for shipping according to their shipping chart. I immediately recieved an email saying "order pending" and a couple of days later I got an email that read "order accepted". That was August 14, 2007. I waited several weeks and nothing came. I emailed them and was very polite, including in my letter that I understood that shipping may take up to a month ( although they claim every order arrives within 14 business days). I waited another week and had no response to my email.

I then started emailing them every other day for about a week before I got a response. The response said "We appologize for the delay, our supplier has some items stuck in customs and we will let you know when they come in and we will ship them right away". Ok, not really what I wanted to hear because I had ordered the items for a halloween function, but it was understandable. By mid October I was getting fed up.

It was 2 months since I had ordered and still, NOTHING. So I started writing emails again. It wasn't until november that I got a response, and It was again "Our supplier has stuff stuck in customs". I wasn't buying it so I started sending emails again.

By December I had probably sent 50 emails when I finally got a response. This time they said "We are terribly sorry, we seem to have lost your order, if you would still like us to send it to you please respond to this email". I should have asked for my money back right then and there (not that that would have done any good). So, frustrated, I replied and said please just send the items as quickly as possible.

So I waited, and I waited some more. Still nothing. I checked on their site under my account there as I had done before to make sure everything was ok, and sure enough everything was in order. It even had a couple of the emails they had sent me on the page. The order said status: accepted and there was a recent date on it. So I emailed them again. And Again, And Again.

Finally they answered me in March. MARCH!! I was understandably Livid, but I was no where near as angry as I was when I read the email. It was EXACTLY the same email I recieved in SEPTEMBER!!!! "We appologize for the delay, our supplier has some items stuck in customs and we will let you know when they come in and we will ship them right away"!!!!

I was blown away! I have never felt so cheated in my life. So thats when I finally asked for my money back. A few more days went by with no resonse and I emailed them again, this time threatening legal action. Their response was quick and they said "your order has now been cancelled and you will recieve a refund as soon as possible." That was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to see a penny of my money back from them.

I am now pursuing every available avenue to get my money back and make sure that NO ONE buys from them again.
