I fulfulled 6 required offers from consumerincentivepromotions in order to recieve a free p.c. One of the offers never was showing as been completed but it said it could take up to 6 weeks before it shows, therefore, I waited. At the end of the 6th week, I emailed them explaining I had completed the offer and it was showing as incomplete. They never responded to my email.

I contacted attoryney generals office in Florida after getting information off ripoffreports.com about this company. And they referred my problem to attorney generals office out of Boca Raton, Florida, where, consumerincentives is "now" doing business. Shortly after I contacted Atty. General in Florida, I got a letter from consumerincentives telling me to fax over a reciept showing that I had paid for and recieved the 6th offer that was showing as incomplete. I did this and they then sent me a letter saying that the security verification process has now been waived and I will not have to mail them the gift redemption voucher and that I shipping request has now been issued.

Allow 4 to 5 weeks for the fulfillment center to process, assemble, and package the p.c. and ship the gift. This letter was dated 4/06/2005. It is now 5/13/2005 the deadline and still no computer. The email letter also states please do not reply to this email letter as the account this is sent from is not monitored for incoming email. I have not heard from atty general in florida or a delivery for the computer that should have arrived by 5/13/05 at the latest.

I have contacted everyone I can think of that is suppose to help consumer crime and not getting anywhere. Can someone please contact me and tell me what to do to make consumerincentivepromotions honor their agreement that has cost me money and heartache. I have a heart condition and cannot handle stress and this has stressed me out beyond belief, I spent money honoring their part of this bargain and still no computer and I have been email and typing all kinds of people for help with getting consumerincentivepromotions to act and cannot seem to have anybody help me.

I am very upset and would like to know what I need to do from here to protect myself from this kind of fraud. It is dishonest and robbery, really. Thanks for taking the time to review my letter and hopefully you will get in touch with me.

How about a small claims lawsuit?

AUTHOR: Jmt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 17, 2008

I think that if you know the town that this company is doing business then you should go ahead and file a small-claims lawsuit.

I would sue them for the PC that was promised plus court costs or the costs of the qualifying programs plus court costs.

On court day make sure that you have copies of EVERYTHING including a copy of the original promise or offer.

One of two things will happen, they will either show up and you will win because they obviously violated the terms of their promise, or they will not show up and you will by default.

They main problem with this course of action is that whether they show up or not, they will most likely stiff you! However at that point they suffer criminal consequences for ignoring the directives of the court.

You may not get your money back but there will be consequences for the scammers.

#8 Consumer Suggestion

I've done it, and it works.

AUTHOR: Williesha - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 05, 2006

Hello, everyone. I've been using the internet for quite some time and fell victim to one of these programs where I go through all the offers and they have suddenly "run out" of the gift that I wanted.

However, I just wanted to say that I did a program like this one (Online Gift Rewards) and it actually did work. It took FOREVER. I think I started working on the process in May, got completely screwed over by some of the offers, but was able to be "persistent and angry" as someone said and got a lot of returns on the products.

Last week, I got my laptop and iPod. I don't know if the stars were in alignment or what. I'm attempting to do this program again with other products just to see if this really works.

I did have to contact customer support several times. Usually sending them an email just never worked, or it would take days. However, they were never rude to me or anything and guided me along the process.

If you ever feel like you want to try your hand at this again, here are some tips. I'm about to get another free gift (a digital camera) through another program called My Choice Rewards, but it's pretty much like all the others.

1) When you go through the offers, write EVERYTHING down. Go through the fine print, write down customer service numbers and estimate the date that you need to call them in order to return the item.

2) Use a junk email address for all the offers. That way, in case they try to send you more crap it won't be that hard to filter through.

3) Check your bank statements OFTEN. I had a serious problem with AOL charging me for things that I didn't sign up for. In general, I would suggest not doing anything that has to do with AOL.

4) You can go through all the offer pages before deciding. If you go back to the home page, go to the "Check Gift Status" button. A new window will pop up and show you what you still need to do.

5) If you have any comments or questions, call customer service. Try to remain calm even if there is a problem.

6) Once you have completed all the offers, they will send you a gift confirmation sheet and a tax form if the gift is worth more than $600 that you will have to get notarized. Do all of this as quickly as possible. If you want extra assurance, get a signature confirmation when you send these back. Three of the offers never showed up as complete, and I had to send them copies of my receipts and bank statements to prove it.

I know this seems like a lot. It took me about two months to get through the process the first time, and I think now it will only take about two-three weeks. However, despite all of the hassles I went through, I really do have the iPod and laptop to prove it, and it was totally worth it.

It looks like all of the companies go through the Gift Reward Center (www.giftrewardcenter.com). If you have a complaint take it to them.

The next time, I don't think it will ever be necessary to go through any legal steps, because you will have all your bases covered.

Nui Tech STill Ripping Me Off

AUTHOR: Cheryl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 19, 2005

I have been dealing with trying to get this company to honor their agreement with me after fulfilling my end of the bargain. After months and months of filing reports at ripoffreports.com, Atty. Generals Office and Economic Crimes Division in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Nui Tech sent me a computer MONITOR and only the MONITOR.

No computer system as they stated they would. I am going to continue my fight till they honor their agreement with me. But to all out there who has been victims in Nui Techs shady business practices, my advice is to file with all above mentioned people and continue to file reports and follow ups here and don't stop until they sent you the "free Gift" you signed up for at the start of your dealings with them. If filing at Economic Crimes Division in Ft. Lauderdale, FL put Attn: Luz on the envelope, she is dealing with my complaint about Nui Tech and if everybody sends their complaints there about this company, perhaps, we can get a class action law suit against them. This has been an ongoing nightmare for far too long. You would think they would sent the computer complete to get me off their back but I guess they are not to bright. You never know who your dealing with out there but neither do they.

I am persistant and angry, not a good combination for them. To all who are victims continue your fight by filing and someone will help you get your product from Nui Tech. Economic Crimes phone number is: 954-712-4600 but I think it won't show on this report becuz ripoffreports.com may take it off my rebuttle. Got part of my product and will not stop till it all arrives, do you hear me "HOLLY" Some live customer support you have nobody responds, alot of good that does.

I am a consumer advocate

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 17, 2005

Hi cheryl:

To answer your question -no i have not ever gone in for this particual thing. But honestly, as much as the internet has shrunk the world and opened up commerce -it has also done nothing but attract ripoff artists who dont have to see you face to face and can stonewall and hide behind 1800 numbers and red tape.

They upfront get from you what they want -then do whatever the hell pleases them. They know all the laws and loopholes. The lesson here is never ever ever do business over the internet.

The internet is for reading, mapquesting, finding usefull info on weather etc... and sometimes i play games at yahoo.

I am a consumer advocate. I got ripped off by myperfectcredit -who tried to sign me up for a ripoff visa card. This led me to this site.

All i wanted was a credit report-not a debit visa card - and had to fight to get my mastercard charge removed and shut it down so the buttmunchers wont recharge it whenever they feel like it.

I was left feeling used as much as an old toliet seat.

Because of my experience in business and my eye for corporate 'grey area' scams -such as these bag biters who wont officially refuse to send it (would be against their own contract) but instead stall via loopholes, red tape, answering machines etc . This is called 'grey area' bullshit which isnt legal or illegal . They depend on these 'loopholes' to keep their costs down.

This is what pisses me off the most. They rigged it up this way to get what they want at our expense and it makes me sick.

God bless

Response to Tom another victim of Nui Tech

AUTHOR: Cheryl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 17, 2005

Thanks, Tom. I needed to hear someone else who knows what this is like going through this. Oh I get what they are doing, and I know they only will honor if hounded till the end. I really don't have the time or energy but will continue till the p.c. is sent just for morality purposes.

What kills me is all these companies that is suppose to protect the consumer does very little to help either but perhaps they are and the process is slow going. Anyways I wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your day to say something on behalf of this rip off.

This is unbelieveable and my next move is to contact all their companys like vonage, discover, etc. and tell them how their good name is being used deceitfully by aligning with Nui Tech and perhaps that will make a difference. To anybody out there do not get involved with online offers such as this, it is not worth it and you won't see any product without alot of complaints being filed. Did you ever get your product from them Tom?

I hope so you sound like an intellegent person who has morals like myself and knows that you have to fight these jerks to get them to follow through, I guess thats true of everything in the world the way it is today.
Thanks again for your input.

dealing with 'internet' companies

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 16, 2005

Cheryl:

I know your pissed. I have read other similar offers and i can tell you that many others have had to jump thru these hoops to get the d**n reward. It saddens my heart to see that these turkeys want your end of the bargain-but then leave themselves with all the power to live up to -or NOT -their end of it too.

you would think that after hearing from the AG that they would give you the d**n pc -and to make up for it rip off others who wont complain this much , but no -they keep stallin you to the bitter end. Either that or they dont really wanna give out pcs -and now have to specially order yours. If they were legit- why not have some in stock for people who do what is asked and qualify?

The most galling thing of all is this 'Holly' employee who comes on here and says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about your pain and anguish. Instead she very calmly and coldly blurts out a customer service announcement to help THEIR cause.

She doesnt mention you or your situation at all, only to call the stupid csr number that you no doubt called 5000 times already to no avail.

The good news is that from others on this site, the pc eventually comes. Why? Cause the company gives a rats a*s about you? no. because they have worked out the 'numbers' and only very few whine and b***h to the extent you have -so they have to send out only a few pcs -which is cost effective vs the lawsuits.

If it wasnt, they would rip you off altogether.

Response to Holly

AUTHOR: Cheryl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 16, 2005

I called your live customer support number and talked with "maria" your supervisor who seemed anxious to end the phone conversation, she claims she dosn't know why the computer wasn't sent and that she would put in another request for it to be sent and close my account. Hmmmmmm, what? Upon asking her if I would have to wait another 6 wks AGAIN for it to arrive she replied "I don't think so." Don't think so isn't an answer, I don't why it wasn't sent isn't an answer.

She didn't want to discuss my complaints filed at ripoff reports or the atty generals office, therefore, I wasn't allowed to ask her what conversations if any took place between atty general and herself to make sure something was being done. She refused to talk with me on that subject. The only thing she would say is my account is going to be closed and she will put in another request, have a nice day, sarcasticly. I wonder how many other people got ripped off by Niu Tech aka consumerincentivepromotions, and I also wonder if these companys which I completed offers at are aware of how they are involved with Niu Tech who dosn't honor their promotions and what that means to these companys like vonage, discover, etc.

Well I will leave it in the hands of Economic Crimes Division, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl who is now handling it for me. Your rebuttel means about as much as your companies promises, nothing. Just leads nowhere. In the end I will prevail, one way or another. This is my rebuttel back at you.
