This fall I heard numerous radio commercials about Internet Speedway - the draw was that you didn't have to carry any inventory and the business would make money - it was the way of the future. I called and got the $9.95 package then was solicited by a very persistent sales rep who, after about an hour of feeding me what I now know to be pure B.S., convinced me to purchase their Platinum package for $7000, telling me that by doing so we would spend four to five hours a week adjusting prices, putting products on sale, etc.

I asked what percentage of people were unhappy with their product/service and requested refunds. I was told that the only people that ask for refunds are those unwilling to "invest" in their premium packages.

I was specifically told that by purchasing their top of the line Platinum package we would be on one of the first three pages of internet searches. I was reminded several times that most people don't click past the third page of an internet search - this to convince me to buy the top of the line package. That part is true for me, I rarely look past the third page, so it seemed to make sense to make the investment as they told me we would be making money the first month. In fact, I was told that many people charge the purchase on their credit card and use the "profits from the business" to pay it off.

Nearly two months later, and after investing many hours setting up the products and adjusting prices there hasn't been a single sale. I wrote to the "coach" who never completed all of the items listed in the syllabus about all these things above and his response was that we needed to advertise, make flyers, promote through newsgroups, etc. this was never, and I mean never, discussed during the "coaching" sessions.

This is one company to stay away from. They mislead and trick people into buying a cheap looking, lousy template of a website that cannot even be found 20 pages deep in a search even if you use the exact key words they have helped set up. It is a complete rip-off and I am embarrassed to say I was taken in by these clowns.

A lady in Chicago posted a complaint in November of this year stating she intends to file a class action suit aginst this company. Ma'am, if you read this, please know i will give you my full support and wish to be part of that class action suit. my significant other is an attorney also. Please contact me at gene_mack@yahoo.com so we can begin working on this together.
