Intown Suites Poor room cleaning and office availability Jacksonville Florida

Maid service is once a week. No problem! But very little serrvice is performed the property general manager a nice guy Rick is often a one person show. From other reports I see that's common with other intown suites locations. The room doesn't get dusted, toilets and/or tubs aren't cleaned, but the sheets get changed each week.

There were live roaches, now I only see dead ones. The floors are moped one or twice a month. The site got hit with lightning on June 2nd. The phones and internet has been down. I asked the chief maintenance guy and he said the internet will be up sometime this week. Corporate has to buy everything and so it takes a long time to get stuff. Too much to ask the management to inform their customers of the situation!

What we have here is a good idea and poor execution. I came there from value place to get a little more room and be on the ground floor for the same price. The Value Place rooms were thoroughly cleaned and the management seemed to care about the facility and their customers. Something this management team doesn't seem to understand. Kmart had a good thing, but management let an upstart like Walmart take them out with the same products and about the same prices. The difference was no service and some services for customers. Intown suites might learn a thing or two from Kmart's demise.
