I don't even no were to start!. Should we discuss the poor product?. The terrible customer service?. How about there complete lack of ethics in billing & collection's.
This company is a complete joke and should be put out of business!
There product will start beeping and fail you without asking for you to provide a sample. No warning! Just fail!
I have no contract with Intoxalock. I am only required to maintain one of these devices for 4 months yet intoxalock wanted me to sign a contract for minimum 9 months. I crossed off the 9 month section and changed it to 4 months. Intoxalock refused my contract based on this change yet is continuing to harass me for $80.00 plus dollars even though they sent a letter to the BBB after I complained saying they would offer me $75.00 credit when I only had the device in my car for less than three weeks.
There product malfunctioning by not asking for a breath test and then failing you could cause many people in this situation to have to maintain there product longer as fails ad up and put the consumer in a position to have to continue utilizing there product longer because motor vehicle requires you to have so many months with no or minimal fails. If the fails ad up?, the consumer must continue using the product longer. In my case, I am required by motor vehicle to utilize an alcohol monitor for 4 month but too many fails and I could have to keep this or a similar product in my car for 9 month or even 2 years per DMV's requirements if the fails continue.
I had there product removed after paying for and installing a second Intoxalock. The issue's continued. I switched to one of there competitors and have had NO problems with the Guardian product.
I continue to receive harassing phone calls from Intoxalock for a billing even though they would not accept my contract as mentioned prior in this complaint.
Its very clear when dealing with this company's customer service department that it starts from the top down in that There little peon customer service reps follow the poor ethics of its company heads. Otherwise, no company would allow a product of this poor quality to continue on the market much less bill for service or products that do not provide the proper outcome it was intended, for the end user!.
When an issue is brought to there attention,Instead of listening to the end user Intoxalocks response is to deny issue's with there product and blame the end user for problems instead of taking responsibility and working to rectify the issue.
I currently use the Guardian interlock system and have not had any problems since getting rid of the Intoxalock system other than the harassing phone calls from a company that has been clearly informed by me were they can stick there so called product, there service as well as there bill they think I owe them.
