I ordered Quickbooks Pro 2013 and one of my biggest dreads was to have a person with an accent to guide me through it. Before beginning I asked the technician would I be able to use this program on more than one computer without an extra fee because I work from my office and at times from home. The technician (Mac) said I could have the program installed on up to 3 different computers for the same fee. This process began at 1:12 Pm. Mac and I went through the process of installation with him taking control of my computer via internet. My phone had a bad connection so Mac told me that we can communicate by typing in whatever we had to say to one another. 2 long hours later the program was finally installed and I and my computer sat idle for another 15 minutes with me not knowing if the installation was done or not. Since it was taking so long to install the program, I was also working on another project on my lap top computer while sitting next to the computer I was have the program installed. I continue to glance at the computer and there was no indication that Mac was doing anything. After another hour of inactivity I typed a note to Mac asking if we were finished. Mac called me back on the phone and apologized telling me he had just gotten back from his break (What!). I assured me everything was complete. I asked him did I need to call him tommorrow for him to install the program into my work office computer. Mac said yes for me to call and he will also download the program into my flash drive. He told me all I needed to do was register with intuit and I would be good to go. I attempted to register the program 8 times and it wouldn't work. I kept telling me the information I was giving them was not in their records. The following day after arriving to my office I called quickbooks to have them install the program and to get me registered. Needless to say the person I was speaking with was definately in India and had a worst accent that Mac. After finally getting her to undrestand my situation she said she would take care of me. She began the process and right at the point of installation she tells me that I need to pay for a support plan. What! She began to quote different plans to me with prices ranging between $100-$400 dollars. I cut her off and explained to her that I had already paid over $200 for the program the day before and all I'm asking for her to do is what I already paid for. She told me that customer support was not included and was not free and began rattling off the prices of the support plans again. I told her that I am not paying them anymore money for the product and service that I had already paid for. She gave me the old I need to talk to my supervisor routine. She came back to the phone and told me that her supervisor said since I was told that everything was already included in the price I had already paid that they would make an exception and charge me only $99 for today only. Once again I told her that I was not going to pay them again for what I had already paid for. She told me that there was nothing she could do unless I had the support plan. I told her to let me speak to her manager. The manager came to the phone also with a thick accent and right off the bat began rattling off the price of the support plans. Once again I explained to him that I was not going to pay them twice for what has already been paid for. I told him that I had attempted several times to register the program with intuit and it would not work. His response was that maybe I didn't put in the right information. He and I went round and round for over 20 minutes. I asked him to think how he would feel if he were the customer with this problem and was being treated like an idiot. He continued to tell me that my only option was to pay and the decision was mine. I told him I was going to reverse the charges on my credit card and I would never do business with his crooked company again because they are scam artist and not very good at it at that. Intuit is a huge company and I couldn't beleive how scandalous they are in ripping their customers off. I can't beleive anyone would be stupid enough to allow themselves to be treated like a fool and pay for their crummy service. They don't even speak english very well. Consumer PLEASE BEWARE!!! INTUIT ARE CROOKS!!!!
