In December of 2012, I received an Invicta Watch model #11425, as a gift. On November 2013, the watch stopped working. In January of 2014 I sent the watch to Invicta Watch Co. of Hollywood Fla for repair. On January 28, 2014, after several weeks from the date they received the watch I had not heard from Invicta, and called their Service Department. After waiting for over 30 minutes I finally got through and was told that I owed an additional $28 dollars which I immediately paid. I was told that the repair would take up to 90 days as it had to be sent to Switzerland, and that they do not preform services in the USA. I later received an email from the Invicta Watch Company with an invoice and a note that I would receive my watch on or before 04-28-2014.

On May 1, 2014, I sent an email to the Invicta Watch service Department, requesting a status on my watch, and when I could expect it to be returned to me. I received an automatic response almost immediately with a promise I would be contacted within one business day. On May 2, 2014, I called Invicta Watch Company waited for over 20 minutes and was hung up on. When I called back the phone went directly to voicemail. On May 6, 2014, I again called the Invicta Watch Company Service Department, and spoke to one of the representatives. This process was extremely long, as it again took approximately 30 minutes to get through. The service representative told me that the watch was currently in Switzerland and complete. It was just waiting to be shipped. I then explained I have been waiting since January, and I felt I should have been contacted so I would be updated it was going to take longer than expected. His explanation was that they never do that I can track my case online. Online all it says is "warranty status send to repair Center". I asked if the watch could be shipped directly to me and not first to Florida and was told no. I asked for expedited shipping and was told no. I then asked to talk to a Manager. I was placed on hold and transferred. I then went directly to voicemail; I left a message and have yet heard anything from this Company.

My problem is my watch is under warranty and should have been repaired at no cost to me. Instead I paid for return shipping and the cost of a battery, as well as the cost of shipping and insurance to them. So far I have spent $78 dollars for a repair which should have been covered at no expense to me under warranty. The other problem is the service this company provides which is extremely poor. I was always spoken to politely but to offer no follow up or emails is totally wrong. If I never called back in January they would never have called me to get more money out of me. I followed the instructions on the website and there should have been no further money due. Once they disclosed to me I could expect my watch on or before April 28, 2014 I should have been contacted so I knew exactly what was going on with my watch. I have serious doubts now that I will ever see my watch again as I feel this company is a scam. I would never recommend to anyone to purchase anything from the Invicta Watch Company.

On May 30, 2014, I finally received my watch from Invicta. To my surprise it was working and in good condition. I thought I would never see the watch again. The Invicta Watch Company has been horrible through out this ordeal. It should never 5 months to replace a battery, which should have been covered under warranty. The cost of this endeavor was $78.00. I will never buy another product with the Invicta name on it again. I do not know what I am going to do when this battery wears out. I will have to find another company to replace it.
