IPG Imports Rude, Unprofessional, Disorganised, Aggressive, Waste of time! ripoff London United Kingdom

Recently I was asked to attend an interview from which I thought was a well known repitable company. I was looking to change career and move into a new field. I thought Sales was always a strong point of mines. I had joined up to numerous job agencies and I had obtained an interview to this company called "IPG IMPORTS LTD." I was impressed by the web page, little did I know the true fact of this company.

Up until the interview all the contact I had with the company was with "IPG IMPORTS" which was whom I thought the interview was with.

Anyway straight to the point. I arrived at London Bridge station expecting to go to a large glassed building, instead I walked down a street of the main road into only what I can describe as a tin can with windows!

Anyway as I arrived the receptionist greeted me and shook my hand. She was probably the nicest person there but that's where it ended.

I was waiting for an hour for my interview, not once was a drink offered although various workers were making drinks and walking past.

Prior the interview I had researched the company as I like to be professional and know about the company which I plan to work for in the future. Anyway I read a review on the company which was placed on this website. Let's just say it was full of praise for the company.

Any how I went into the interview room with a woman call MO, she was short, plump and had what I could only call as a bad hair day.

She then started to ask me questions which I answered with a very professional and diplomatic manner. All was going well until I realised that she was actually interviewing me for a different job and with a completely different company. She had used IPG imports name to advertise but she was actually recruiting for her own company called "Mo's events something." Anyway I noticed she was trying to sell her own company to me by using the portfollio of clients from the IPG IMports webpage (which i had studied before hand) I thought this was rather unprofessional but also a big LIE! She was making her own company sound good when really it was a shambles. Well I let this slide as I didn't want her to get embarassed.

Anyway she asked if I had any questions and I did obviously. Let me just state that at this point I was a bit confused but I was still highly professional in my approach and more importantly my tone of voice. I told her that I had recently researched the company and read the review on this web page. I asked her on her insight to the situation and if she could explain why someone would say such bad things about her company.

Let's just say that didn't go down well. She started off by saying that IPG Imports wasn't part of her company and was only a "sister" company. I found this strange as she had used IPG IMPORTS LTd client portofolio in the interview to make her company sound successful. Also I would have thought that if it was a sister company then they're all under the same "business umbrella."

She didn't become very aggressibve and rude at that point and obviously felt embarrassed about the situation and kenw she had been sprung. I don't know why but she obviously thought people attending her interview were stupid enough not to research her company. Obviously she was the stupid one and did look very stupid in the end. PLus the fact that when she got aggressive she was mumbling and stuttering and saying that I wasn't getting interviewed for a job at IPG imports but was getting interviewed for her company. Strange that all the contact I recieved up to and prior theinterview was under IPG IMPORTS Ltd.

All in all a waste of my time as I had to take a day off work for this interview. It was a total waste of time and this MO women is obviously an idiot she knew she had been busted and she practically threw me out of the door before I could say anything else or made a scene in front of the rest of the interviewees.

This company is a joke and people who get an interview for this job BEWARE as its not what it seems. Mo seems like she will be a rubbish boss and she won't care about anyone but herself and money. BEWARE FOR YOUR OWN SAKES!
