I found this "company" on Ebay. In Melissa's first email to me, she had several spellling and grammar mistakes. Now for a company that designs logo's, this concerned me but I let it go thinking, I make typos and I'll just carefully check the first impression they send before I give it a final approval. So I found a copyrighted image online that I wanted to use as an example only instead of trying to type it out and explain it. I guess Melissa took it as I wanted her to change the copyrighted image and this is what she claims I wanted to do this day. She did issue a refund but that's not the point... My request was too detailed for them so instead of being honest with me and saying "Your request requires someone with more experience" they cancelled my order not even asking me if I wanted to keep the transaction and just change my order. It's more of an inconvenience than anything. So I left negative feedback for them on Ebay and of course, they also left negative feedback for me.. EVEN THOUGH... I paid right away and sent them my requests right away. If you leave negative feedback be prepared to get it back regardless if you have a 100% rating on ebay or not, that's how she operates. After all this, I did a bunch of research on this so called "Iron Horse Creations" online and no record of them so I'm guessing this is a young girl from college trying to get her foot in the door which I can respect but she needs to practice business and take a course in business management.

Customer asked us several times to copy someone elses work in violation of copyright law. We refused, canceled his order and refunded him IMMEDIATELY, dispite the fact that it was a non refundable listing and we had already started work. He left negative feedback and we asked eBay to mediate. After Ebays feedback dept read all the communications between the customer and myself through Ebays own messaging system Ebay found in our favor, the customer had infact asked us to violate copyright laws, and they immediately removed his negative feedback.
We are a professional graphic design firm that has been in business over 15 years and take copyright violations very seriously. It is unfortunate that this happened but we do not feel we were out of line in canceling an order when the customer was clearly asking us to violate copyright law, even after having explained to him several times.
As can be seen in our Ebay Store, http://stores.ebay.com/ihcdesign, I am pretty obviously not a "young girl from college trying to get her foot in the door", I am, however, a seasoned professional, and owner of firm that stands its ground on copyright violations but also on great customer service and communication with clients which our feedback easily reflects.
As to leaving negative feedback, as a regular Ebay seller knows it is not posible for a seller to leave a buyer negative feedback. The options are "Positive Feedback", "Report Buyer" or "I'll leve Feedback Later", sellers are allowed a rebuttal to negative feedback where we stated the exact same thing as we have here.
