    I went online to apply for a tax id number for a new business entered my social security number and information only to find out that this was NOT the IRS but, looks like it. It is a non-government agency and a price tag of $150.00 for 72 hour turnaround for a tax id, ein number and an additional $50.00 for same day service.



     People please BEWARE! make sure you go on the IRS correct website, with all the identity theft going on we cannot afford to put our social security numbers in these kinds of things luckily, I caught it before I paid the $150.00 but, I did put my social security number in there and had to alert all authorities just in case my information will be used illegally.
