Irvine Company, Irvine Apartment Communities, Rancho San Joaquin Apartments rip-offs! They did not maintain my $1,395.00/mo apartment! I became extremely ill while living there from toxic mold. Newport Beach California

I use to be healthy. I complained of water problems from the very first day I moved in to the $1,395.00 per month apt. see pictures at (URL removed by ripoffreport.com). TOXIC MOLD APT. They build cheap apartments with vent systems running off the hot water heaters and no cross ventilation. They tell you to buy a screen door from Home Depot in the Newport Bluffs another Irvine Company complex when tenants complain.

While living there I went to Hoag Emergency Room with Pulmonary problems, heart problems many times. Blood came out of my right ear and I spit up blood in the morning while brushing my teeth. I would cry out from toxic brain in the middle of the night like when people come out of anesthesia. I have signs of Lupus, but I do not have Lupus (high ANA - immune system broken). My blood counts drooped: Red, White and platelets. Liver count went up. (No Dr. told me). The Dr's all lease spaces in buildings owned by the Irvine Company, they own the whole city.

I became very fatigued in the apartment to the point of coming home from the grocery store putting the groceries on the counter, then going to sleep for hours in the middle of the day forgetting to put the groceries away. I would forget how old I was, drive off with the gas pump still in the gas tank, leave water running. I would doze off while driving my car. I have bronchial asthma now. All started with in one year after moving into the apt. My toe nails on right foot came off. Right side of my brain is damaged from toxic exposure per a spect scan UCLA. You need a spect scan' to show toxicity.

I lived there 3.5 years. They have contracts stating "A Higher Standard of Living", selling "Apartment Homes". They have contracts that state, if you see mold or have water problems to call them. DON'T CALL THEM.Make sure you go down and personally fill out the work orders' and GET A COPY. They hate to give you the copies and insist on filling them out, BUT YOU DO IT, DON'T LISTEN TO THEM, DON'T LET THEM PUSH YOU AROUND! I let them push me around, I trusted them they seemed so nice to me and acted as though they were doing me a favor. However, it has cost me over 50K out of pocket medical with Blue Cross stuck paying much more. My furniture, clothes and everything gone.

I use to make over 100K/year. Been unemployed for a while, lost everything, the chronic fatigue was the worst. The moons in my nails went away and after 3 years being out of the apartment, finally the moons in my nails are showing with my energy coming back. I would not have believed what my body went through if I did not experience it myself.

My face was really dry. Now with moons in my nails, toe nails growing back, my face gets really oily and have to wash it 2-3 times a day. I know my body is coming back from toxic exposure. I had to get rid of everything I own.

THEIR CONTRACTS ARE JUST A SMOKE SCREEN

If you report mold to them, they just ignore your letters, per the Villa Sienna Residences from the same property owner as mine located in the city of Irvine. They just let you rot in your apartment until you move from them not helping you. They will not do an environmental report unless you make them or get a Dr. to state the apartment is making you sick.

Make them give you an environmental report before you move out or you will not have proof. They got me to move in 4 days stating they would provide me the environmental report and then did not have they paid to move me out.Attorneys will do nothing for you at all until you get a report. Call the law offices who only have designated their own environmental teams and experts. Only work with attorneys who have gone to trial on MOLD cases (to trial is the key).

IRVINE KNOWS attorneys find mold suites labor intensive and very costly. The Irvine Apartment Communities have "more money than God", with there 75 complexes all over CA. The regular plaintiff attorney does not find a small renter worth the costs. However, if you have mold in your apartment, so do your neighbors. Attorneys will take a class action suite against this company. So if you suspect mold or water leaks and the landlord ignores your letters, talk to your neighbors with connecting walls and show them what happened to me.

BE CARFUL, many attorneys take the mold cases and if they don't get a settlement before trial will drop the case right before trail (and they get away with it stating; the client was ____ what ever they want to make up about you in order for them to get the judge to release them from you, that you are the problem). I have heard from many mold victims this happens to. Because they don't have the money for the experts for trial. Most attorneys will not pick up after another attorneys worked a case especially at the last minute.

There are 2 lady roommates who were very sick while living in another complex see LA time article dated 2/5/01 (URL removed by ripoffreport.com). They have drug me through legal ____. I was more of a victim after then before.
