I tried the It Works Ultimate Body wrap on my stomach. You need to leave the wrap on your body for 45 minutes, drinking at least two cups of water for the duration you are wearing the wraps. At first, I was very excited because my 'After' measurements showed that I had lost 1/4 inch after only one 45 minute session.

After the wrap, my skin felt tighter, as if I had been doing sit-ups only minutes before. A few hours later, I started noticing small red bumps all over the area that I had the wrap on. They were not itchy or painful or bothersome in any way, but they were still there. Day 2 after the wrap: I have a rash on my stomach, I am completely, horribly nauseous, I have an insane migrane which will not go away, my vision is blurred, my hands feel numb as if I have carpal tunnel syndrome, my bowel movements have become more frequent and unsettling (mucus and very runny, sorry I know its gross) and I just all around feel like complete crap.

I followed the instructions from the wrap, recommending that I drink lots and lots of water (half your body weight in ounces. I weigh 120lbs so I needed to drink 60 ounces of water) I have actually been drinking more than the recommended amount. I cannot say for a fact that my symptoms are from the wrap, but its way too coincidental that I am this ill after using the wrap, and felt completely fine before hand. I had no indications that I was getting sick before I used the wrap.

My suggestion is: DONT USE THESE WRAPS! Like I said before, I cannot absolutely 100% say the wraps made me sick, but it just doesnt seem worth it to risk. These wraps seem to severely dehydrate you which, we all know, can have some very bad side effects. I will never use these products again. Looks like I will be visiting the ER soon.
