iTalk-Verizon Wireless Cheaters, Scam artist, Thieves, Slimy Scum of an Employer & Business Shaumburg, Illinois

This company promises it's employees a dream and in the end it was a nightmare. This company is unethical to all of it's employees not just one or two people. They make you wait a month before you see your first paycheck. When you get it 30 days later its short, wages are incorrect and they take 125.00 for what they call "keys"

I waited another two weeks to find out what happened to my hours that where missing and to see if my wages would be fixed. Only to get another check that was missing even more hours and the wage was still incorrect.

There computer system doesnt allow you to review the hours you worked, so you can't even go back to tell them exactly how many hours are missing. They even started telling their employees they had no way to go back and see how many hours they worked or got paid for so they couldn't get paid.

They are thieves. Having so many employees run their store without being paid or properly trained, but they sure did have camera's and used them to micro-manager all the employees who worked and didn't get paid. They even sent out and email telling employees if they were caught on camera sitting down they would be penalized on the paycheck they never got $50.00. Seriously? You're paying someone to watch me stand up in an empty store, but you can't pay me?

Our stores where empty. We never had the phones the customer's wanted. When we finally got a customer to walk into our stores and didnt have the phones they wanted, we where told to go pick up the phones at local iTalk stores. We did this on our own time, in our own car's and on our own gas. How did we do this if we weren't getting paid. We did this because we wanted to be successful in our jobs and all the owner's and management did was take advantage us ALL of us. Like I said I was not the only one.

The owners are so rude they will even curse at you over the phone when they call you on non-company time. They won't let you use or bring your cellphone inside the store if it's not a Verizon phone. They sent out an email stating if you are caught with non-Verizon electronics it will be confiscated and become the property of iTalk. Really? who's in school now?

To this day I am waiting on a months worth of wages that have never been paid to me. The owners hound you every day every hour to make sales, make quota's. How? We have NO phones. They promise a shipment is coming, we wait three days for a shipment and it only has the phones nobody wants. How this company manages to get away with treating all there employees this way is beyond my belief. Hard working employees who just want a paycheck get nothing while these owners pockets get fat. This company has disgraced the Verizon name.

Consumers Beware: When shopping at an iTalk store. LEAVE! They will hit you with high prices, imbedded taxes they make up, re-stocking fees, exchange sur-charges and horrible service. It's not the employees fault, it's the owners. Go visit a corporate Verizon. You will see the difference.
