ITV Global Promised no charges until after 30 day free trail; credit card charge w/i one week of order date Elk Grove Village Illinois

Watched an informercial on Jun 7 about natural cures books by Kevin Trudeau and called on the phone to order the books. I was told the books were free and that I would receive a free 30 day subscription to a website subscription and electronic newsletter. After the free 30 day trail, if I had not canceled, the website subscription and electronic newsletter , at $9.95 each, would each be charged to my credit card monthly.
On my Jun credit card statement, a charge of $19.90 was listed for NATRLCURES on Jun 16. Not knowing for sure what the charge was for, I paid my bill but kept the listing to see what these charges were for.

Today, July 26th, I received the books I ordered and was upset to see this charge must have been for the website and electronic newsletter, which I would not have even known I had until today. I immediatly set down and called the (2) phone numbers listed to cancel these subscriptions and was told the office wqas closed and that I should call back on the next work day.
According to the shipping information, the office hours were 8AM-5:30PM EST.

I called at 3:45 EST and could not get anyone. I called on July 28th to cancel and got a recorded message asking for my ID #, which would be on my Electronic Newsletter, which I have "no way of accessing" since they have not informed me of any access code.

I'm afraid I have listened to another "RIP-OFF " program over the TV. I'm beginning to believe the only way to purchase what you want is to do it hands on, since the people who allow these informercials apparently do no investigative work prior to collecting their money SOOOOO Buyer Beware!!

I have had my credit card company refute these charges and will continue to do it until ITV cancels my subscriptons.
