I ordered a trial size of Ivory White through the Internet, while responding to a paid survey that might allow me to get a new computer (mistake #1). I signed up for a trial size of Ivory White. I knew the trial period was about 10 days. Well, I was out of town at a meeting of the American Diabetes Association in Washington DC as a Diabetes Advocate when my trial size of Ivory White arrived. I read the ingredients panel and realized I could not use this product due to the high concentration of peroxide (mistake #2). Then I called the company, at their 1-800 number, explained the situation to them over the phone. She cancelled my subscription to the product but refused to give me the $78 back. She was a real b***h, by the way! I told her that I could not call before because I was OUT OF TOWN. Which was absolutely true--I can verify it. I told her the trial size had never even been opened and offered to return it. She did not want it back and told me that I had just lost $78 because I did not follow the directions!

To make a long story short, I called the PA Attorney General's office and they are sending me a form to fill out, which I plan to do as soon as the form arrives. I am hopeful they will intervene in some way and I can get my $78 refunded to me. I told the customer service representative that this was very unfair and illegal treatment and I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau, at which she got very defensive. It was obvious to me that she knew she was working for a company with questionable business practices.

If people would just read the terms and follow the instructions then they would not have any sort of a problem . If you check the box that says "I have read and agree to How The Offer Works" and don't follow the instructions then it is your own fault if you get charged or cannot do a return per the terms you agreed to by checking that agreement box.I have broken up the paragraphs and sentences to emphasize the points that most people do not read or follow to avoid any further charges or auto shipment every month.

You can cancel in two easy ways; call our customer service center at 1-800-964-4593 or email our Customer Care at CustomerService@IvoryWhite.com if you wish to cancel. We are open 7 days a week, 7am to 6 pm Mountain Standard Time.
If you cancel during the Free Trial introduction offer, you will be given 15 days from the day you cancel to return the unopened, unused Complete Program portion of the whitening program (the two unused syringes in the Complete Program box) in order to ensure you will not be billed for the Complete Program.

....If you return the Complete Program and it is unopened with its seal intact and in good, marketable condition without package blemishes, you will be refunded the complete amount you were charged for the product.....
