My husband ordered the Ivory White tooth cleaning system for me and I was looking forward to using it. But when we recieved it I opened the shipping carton that included 2 product boxes (1 was a free trial and the other 1 was a 1 month supply) and read the information packet included only to find out that I could not use it because I am breastfeeding.

So I called the Ivory White customer service number on the box and recieved a return authorization number. I was told to send it back unopened by the 5th of March and they would not charge my account for the product. So I put the unopened product back in the shipping box and returned it via UPS to them which cost me $7.58.

I thought, no problem I'll paythe extra shipping because I can't use the product and I don't want to pay $78.41 for an item that I can't use. Anyway, they recieved the package on March 3rd and then charged my checking account for the $78.41 on the 4th of March.

When I called to find out why they charged me when they had recieved the product back they informed me that the box was damaged. However, they could not tell me how the box had been damaged and said all they could do was send me another box with more product in it. I informed them that I couldn't use the product and I told them why I couldn't use it. That is the only reason I sent it back, I haven't even opened their free trial they sent at the same time because I can't use the product.

So all they say they can do is send me more of a product that I can't use and they can't tell me how the package was damaged so I can't file a shipping claim with UPS. So I am stuck paying $78.41 for a product that I can't use. I'm not independently wealthy, so paying that much for something that I can't use is a big kick in the teeth.

I asked to speak to a supervisor twice and was told both times that a supervisor was not available to speak with me but that I should recieve a call from them within the next 24 business hours. They are only open from 7am-6pm Mon-Fri so I guess that means that I can't talk to a supervisor on request but have to wait up to 3 business days to hear back from them. Meanwhile, while I wait for them to call me back, I have $20 to feed my family with until the 15th what a load of garbage.

No Hassle Return Policy...Yeah Right

Their no hassle return policy is something they should honor. I have reread their how the offer works statement and as far as returning the product goes, it says nothing about a damaged package. I opened the shipping box and read the info sheet. I never opened anything else and upon reading that it was not advised that I use it I placed everything back in the box and immediately called the 800 number and cancelled.

Their no hassle return policy only says to return the unused, unopen complete kit which I did. They couldn't tell me or prove to me what kind of damage was supposedly present.

When I asked them how the box was damaged they couldn't answer me all their system said was that it had been damaged but they speculated that maybe the box might have been written on, crushed, or opened.

I assure you no one wrote on the box, chewed on the box, stepped on the box, drooled on the box, or whatever other possible excuse they can give me for charging me for a product I already returned to them.
The product was unopened an untampered with when I shipped it back to them.

If there was damage they should have notified me of that and returned the damaged box to me so that I could file a claim with UPS. I should not find out about a damaged box because they charged my checking account after I had been assured that as long as they recieved their unopened product back by 3/5 I would not be charged anything further.
