J D Marvel Products ripoff Champlain New York

I sent my check for fleece lined soft suede slippers on Feb 1,2003 and they cashed my check immediatley. I called the number listed and it is out of the country. It cost me $1.00 per minute to talk to a woman with broken English on 3/20/03 and I told her that I mailed my check 2/1/03 and they cashed my check but no slippers and she told me they would ship 3/28/03.

I asked her how she knew anything about my order without even asking my name and she said that she was told that the orders received at that date will ship 3/28/03 and I should have them in two weeks. My phone bill said the place was Pt Claire, PQ and was an international call. Well, it has been two weeks and nothing. How can they still keep advertising?
