Just a few weeks ago, the owners of Certified IRS Solutions (Spencer Carlson and Wade Carlson) shut down Certified IRS Solutions and let 8 employees go without warning. The employees showed up on a Monday morning to find a Security Guard at the door blocking them from entering the office. The employees were honest hard working people. What can be said for the Carlsons?

Now the phones are disconnected and the www.wefixirs.com website has a message that they are closed due to the US Economy etc. I warned folks about these people a year ago here on ROR. The BBB report will look pretty bad real soon as complaints mount up with no response. This company took in several hundreds of thousands of dollars since it was started in 2005. I agree with Justice in his post regarding Dan Lott moving to Certified IRS Solutions. I also want to state that Certified IRS Solutions uses misleading advertising and some false information. For instance, they have online adds that promise "95% off" your tax debt. No one can guarantee you 95% off your tax debt honestly. On other postings they claim to be in business since the 1990s when in fact the firm was organized in 2005. It is run by a former JK Harris salesman. Be careful!

The consultant you spoke of, D. Lott is now working for another income tax company, Certified IRS Solutions. And I would not suggest any one use that company either. They use a "drop box" as a physical address on their web site;
