J K Harris ripoff, fraudulent, deceptive business practices North Charleston South Carolina

I hired JK Harris to files some old returns. At the time in 2004 that I retained them to help me that was my only issue. After nothing happened for several months some tax levies were issued and our paychecks began getting garnished. At the time we hired this firm we were assured that the IRS would settle through an offer in compromise for no more than $2,000.00.

To date the IRS has taken tens of thousands of dollars from us and JK Harris has still done nothing. We intially paid them $3,800.00 for the services they were supposed to perform.

The only thing that they did finally do was prepare 6 years worth of returns for us. Those unfortunaltely were all prepared wrong and the tax owed did not even match the published tax tables from the IRS. Through working with a tax payer advocate on our own we have now paid what was owed and got the levy released as of this morning.

This company should not be able to do this to people, they are complete liars and do not do anything they proclaim to do. I have spoken with many people regarding this and have found a law firm that is interested in filing a suit against JK Harris.
